Her Touch (Grandma)

She caressed my cheek
My body relaxed—I felt safe
A kiss to my forehead sealed it
Grandma assured me
No words were needed
We hugged and I tightly held her
"Grandpa went to Heaven"
My little heart was glad
A tear was in her eye,
"I'll join him one day, but...
I'll wait as long as you need me"
...But grandma, I still want you here
