Location: Somewhere in Kyoto, Japan
June 1st, 2010ZAIN ZAFFAR'S POV:
Where am I?
I opened my bleary eyes, and blinked a few times to get my vision back. As I got up from the ground and dusted myself off, I could immediately feel something was off...
Okay, there are a couple of things not right, but this one is...
Why am I a kid...? Why am I in a forest? Why am I wearing this metal-bracelet?
I looked around, trying to figure out where I was, but it was just trees everywhere I looked.
I looked at my wrist, and examined the bracelet. It looked like a watch, but not just any watch... This looked like it was from the future. I tapped on the watch and it whirred to life, displaying a message:
[WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECAP?]
[YES] | [NO]I tapped the yes button, and my mind was immediately flooded with information.
Okay, this is a lot to take in...
I found a quiet little corner, away from the people of this world, and let out a sigh.
"WHAT THE FUUUUUUU-!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, before calming down. "Okay, okay, this is no time to panic. I've got to- I've gotta figure something out..."
Tapping a few more times on the watch, it showed me a list of options. These seem interesting to say the least.
[INTER-DIMENSION: PORTAL RAY]
[INTER-DIMENSION: LANGUAGE]
[INTER-DIMENSION: MONEY]
[INTER-DIMENSION: MAP]Okay... From what I figured, the Portal Ray is busted, and there's no way of aging myself back to my original age, either.
Does this mean I'm stuck in this world as a kid?
What'll happen if I take this thing off? Let's find out. I carefully removed the watch and it immediately shrunk in size to match a locket. I placed it in my pocket and started walking towards a direction I hoped was the right one.
...
I had been walking for 10 minutes, and before I could go any further, my body felt like it was being torn apart from the fabric of space-time itself.
To explain it in simple terms, my body glitched.
"What the fu-" Before I could make sense of the situation, I was transported to a random location, which thankfully had a lot of people.
It looks like I'm in some kind of tourist spot, but where am I?
I quickly took out the watch and wore it again, tapping away to figure out what could help me...
"What the heck is wrong with this piece of junk...?"
I walked around, trying to fix the watch, when my attention was diverted by someone shouting.
"You just took my photo right now, didn't you?!" a fat lady was accusing a little boy with blonde hair of something.
I didn't care much about the scene, considering I was stranded in a completely different time and space.
I walked a little further and came across a shop that sold snacks. My stomach growled loudly, telling me that it was time to eat up.
I quickly toggled through the watch since I remembered seeing an option called [INTER-DIMENSION MONEY] and materialized some money, before heading inside and buying a couple of meat buns.
