REMEMBER - DAENERYS

One day had finally passed after all the commotion caused by the arrival of Daenerys in Dragonstone and the burial of the ashes of Queen Rhaella, mother of the current queen. Finally, she was able to say goodbye to the mother who loved her so much but never had the chance to create and educate due to the cruelty of the gods. The members of the council should be gathered to discuss how to defeat the forces of the Lannister army and take the capital quickly and effectively; however, among all the counselors, one person was missing: Athena, Daenerys' beloved. Everyone was surprised by Athena's delay in the meeting, including the queen herself, who had no idea why she was late. The queen was already visibly distressed when Athena arrived in the meeting room, wearing a costume as dark as Drogon's scales and a pin of a golden rose hanging below her shoulder.

Olenna Tyrell was dead; it was not necessary for a word to be said for that to be confirmed because the golden ring on Athena's finger was passed from boss to boss, but out of respect for the fact that Olenna was still alive, she had refused to wear the ring. The scenario was different at that time; the golden ring shone brightly as it rested on Athena's index finger, looking out of place from its wearer and matching little with her. Many were paralyzed when she read the letter that told about Lady Olenna's death. Many were surprised by the news.

Athena did not know how to feel in the face of this news that was not new to her. The bad part of being from a world where everyone was a character of fiction was knowing that some things in the story could not be changed and some deaths could not be avoided. Olenna wanted to have a final clash with Cersei to solve things because of the deaths of her grandchildren, and when Athena offered to help her, the woman said that the Tyrells always solved their own battles and that it was up to the former Lady Tyrell to send a response to Cersei before she died. Another loss during the battle of Reach was Jaime Lannister, killed by poison by making the stupid mistake of drinking the wine from the woman's goblet. The two were dead before reaching King's Landing.

"I inform everyone that Lady Olenna Tyrell faced an ambush from our friends," Athena said with a tone of false sadness, unable to contain the smile, "and I love that old woman because before dying she took the big golden lion of Cersei Lannister together; the Kingslayer is dead! A toast to House Tyrell and the memory of Lady Olenna," she toasted as she raised Daenerys' wine glass as she looked discreetly at Tyrion.

Everyone who was present got goosebumps with Athena's posture; her voice was as sweet as honey but dripped a dangerous poison. She dismantled a cold and calculating side while watching all the people on the table and promptly sat next to the queen with a sloppy pose, as if she were bored with all the people who were there. Athena was thinking about her next steps, and she would make one of her most important moves now. This was the moment when Daenerys' true allies would be revealed, and those who doubted their loyalty would be seen as potential traitors. This speech was not about ceding territories but about loyalty; those who did not want to be part of the alliance would be free to go but would not have the freedom to return.

"All Daenerys' allies are present here in this place, from north to south; that's good. There are questionable things in this alliance, so those who are loyal to Daenerys should kneel now and declare their side because we know that there are those who have no belief in her. You are free to follow whoever you want, but remember that once you leave Dragonstone as enemies, you can never come back, not alive," Athena said before getting up.

"Athena, what are you doing?" Daenerys asked, worried.

"I'm separating the wheat from the chaff," she replied as she faced everyone firmly. "We are planning attacks, attacks that can cause a lot of damage and many deaths; it's a war where no side will accept to lose. There are allies who still have links with the enemy, and there are allies who do not decide on which side to stand in this war. Have in mind my warning, because if I dream or distrust any betrayal against the queen, I will clean up the name of the traitor and all his lineage in the story. I will make your name so damned to the point of being forgotten."
