The fear was not said, but felt, especially when the rumors of Targaryen flags at sea gained reinforcement. The main nobles of the city were reunited with the family that theoretically ruled Bravavos, so that they could decide what they should do in defense or retaliation against the Dragon Queen.

"Loki, what should we do? We can't stand idly by while Daenerys Targaryen marches with full force towards us and don't dare say that she wasn't coming here because many of her boats have already been spotted. We are many, we can resist on earth, but what worries me is how we are going to resist in heaven?"Loki's wife, Alyse, said while arguing with her husband in the council.

She didn't know how she should react to this speech from Aegon's friend, she expected him to be a dog loyal to the man and follow him blindly, after all that was the impression that all people had of Balto, but it seems that both these people and Athena were wrong. He had left Athena curious, he spoke with so much resentment and disgust for his friend, he spoke as if there were things that never came to Athena's knowledge although it had been her right to know.
