CHP 2: Chaos Unbound!

Prologue& theme

Surge and Kit managed to get a lead on their forgotten memories, but they ran into trouble from Doctor Eggman, who wanted them for his vile research purposes! Kit the Fennec was captured, and Surge was saved by Shadow and his allies, who are now questioning the Tenrec at this very moment. In a confrontation like this, who knows what could happen?

Surge: Fine, I'll tell you everything I know.

Surge: There was this guy called Clutch who offered us a deal.

Surge: In exchange for info on our memories, we just had to do what we were told.

Shadow: Your memories?

Surge: Me and Kit were brainwashed and experimented on when we were younger! Ever since then, our memories were taken away!

Shadow starts to look conflicted, and Rouge knows exactly what he's thinking.

Shadow: Who was it?

Surge squints her eyes as she remembers all the things that were done to her and Kit in all those videos she watched of Starline's experimentation.

Surge: Dr. Starline! He's the one who did this to us!

Shadow and Rouge are shocked and surprised.

Shadow: Dr. Starline? I know that guy...

Surge: Oh really? That makes sense he used to be with Eggman...

Rouge: Yeah, he was quite a hassle to deal with.

Shadow: That's correct! He was a dangerous man. I encountered him myself a few times, but he's assumed to be long gone.

Surge [looking very serious]: If that four-eyed clown is still alive, I'll break every bone in his body!!!

Rouge starts to feel pity for Surge but is conflicted at the same time.

Rouge: I get what happened to you was terrible, but Sonic and the others would have helped you!

Surge: Yeah, well that was never going to be! We were practically built and brainwashed to destroy them!!

Shadow: I see, so you have no free will of your own.

Rouge: Shadow!!

Surge starts to smile and laugh.

Surge: Ahahahahaha!!

Rouge and Shadow are confused.

Surge: Free will? And what have you guys done with your free will?

Surge: Sonic was delusional, letting people like Starline and Eggman go, and the whole world praising him for it!

Surge: That's the only reason any of this happened to us in the first place!!

Surge: That moron let us into HQ after what we did and look what happened??

Surge: The rat had it coming, and he got exactly what he deserved!
