I quickly straighten my outfit and looked myself in the mirror one last time before waiting for Blitz to arrive.
I was delighted by this, my boss, Blitz has asked me out on a date this weekend wich i happily accepted it.
However i could tell that he was pretty sweaty and perhaps squeaky in his voice when he asked me out in his office after i finnished a few papers for him. He even stutterd while struggling to remain eye-contact with me.
I knew that Blitz wasn't really the daiting-kind of guy like at all and he definitly hate the thought of getting this close to a person in his life but i decided to give it a shot since i had to admit to myself that i might have slight feeling for him. I'm not quite sure about it tho, sure, he has a temper and horrible jokes but i were aware that it was just a facade so people wouldn't know about his true, insecure, vunerable self.
Only me and Loona saw past that but i somehow managed to break his walls down, i were the first person except Loona to truly know him and his self-being.
And his stupid attitude, passion for horse and his outgoing personality made me smile each time and-
" Heeeey bitch~"
I snapped out of your thought when you heard that familiar voice and turned my head to face Blitz, leaning against the resturant window with a nervous grin. It was obvious that he was hiding his anxiety from me with his signature attitude but i just smiled back at him
" Good evening, Blitz."
His face tinted into a darker shade of red, still trying to seem cool infront of me before finally collecting himself and offering me his hand with a smirk
" Let's go in! I'm starving!"
I placed my hand in his gently and rubbed his knuckles as we enterd the resturant.
It was a simple place that Blitz had picked out for is, a burger place although it served other things aswell. It was pretty much perfect for a first date to be honest, they weren't many people, the music was nice and the food from the kitchen smelled heavingly, despite me living here in litearl Hell
We went up to the counter where a skinny, casher with purple bags under his eyes yawned, clearly not willing to take his job seriously and he was pretty fucking rude too, mocking at us whenever he had the chance but we didn't do anything!
Like commenting on our clothes, how we heard eachother and what not
I knew better than to cause a scene over something so petty as a hate comment from a guy that has probably nothing better to do with his life so i swallowed my anger and tried to ignore his comments
But soon Blitz on the other hand would certiently attack him, i could sense his anger, his eyes got all red and he growled like a raccon
" You got a problem with us you twink-ass bitch?!"
He leaned over the counter and hissed at him but it didn't seem to scare him off at all, only entouraging him as he smirked
" I'm just saying what everyone thinks here.."
Oh, this guy was REALLY testing my patience, wasn't he...?!
I clasped my hands together and took a deep breath breath, putting all my energy to not sounding irritated by this man but almost failed at the facade
" Sir, we just wanna have a civilised date and eat some good food..and you seem to REALLY push my buttoms right now...!"
He just shrugged while picking his nose, unbotherd
" And?"
I clutched my fists together as i heard Blitz growl at him, hissing even more now.
But suddenly his eyes widen as if an Idea just poped into his little head and he smirked
" Hah! Ok sir, how about this-"
He reached into his jacket to pick out something and i grinned, knowing exactly what he was planning and this time i wouldn't stop him
" - We take the food here for free and you get a free sun-burn"
He then revealed his flame-thrower, aiming it at the chashier who now huverd to the side, suddenly shaking by his tool
Blitz turned to me, raising his eyebrow
" You got the stuff?"
I nodded as i pulled out a bottle of petrol from my pocket
" You know it, B!"
With that i ruffly undid the bottle and threw the liquid all over the counter, the cashier and even some in the kitchen then Blitz shot fire in every direction and soon everything was on fire.
My ears were filled with the flames burning the kitchen and the caddiers laughter as me and Blitz snuck between the fire, stole some food that was in a few brown paper-bags and hurrade outside to eat somewhere else.
We quickly rushed to Blitz van, jumped in and drove as fast as we could, still patting and laughing how fucking stupid that guy was and now he's probably gonna have a burn mark for the rest of his life
Served him right for messing with us like that!
Anyway we both decided to sit on top of the IMP tower and sit on a bench while eating the food while we cracked jokes
Yes, this date was surely going much, much better than i expected it to be.
We both finnished our food and drank some (favorite drink) as we linked arms together.
But then in all of a sudden Blitz face suddenly dropped and rubbed gently on my shoulder
" Um, Y/n...can i Uh... say something...?"
I imedietly calmed down and locked eyes with him
" Yeah sure, anything on your mind?"
Blitz seemed to hesitate for a brief moment before Huffing out and finally spoke up, looking more detirmed and serious than he honestly has ever been before while setting his drink aside
" Y/n.... It's uh, hard to explain but i-fuck...!"
He snapped himself
" I just Uh- i Uh.. i have to confess that i....."
I couldn't help but roll my eyes, i knew what he was gonna say, Loona had told me weeks ago about that he feelt the same about me.
You see Blitz uses the word "dates" as something to describe a meet-up with a buddy and everyone at the office knew that but i could tell that THIS time was diffrent, he wanted to be with me for real.
I placed my finger on his lip to shut him down and said softly
" I dig you too, you little idiot.."
Then planting a kiss on his cheek, a dry one but a genuine, one was showing off your true feelings for him.
He only gazed at me, dumbfounded
, cheeks redder than river before, but then he stumbled,
" Oh my....."
Still not taking his hand off mine.
He was probably still processing this new information but he didn't seem to mind me wrapping my arms around his neck to rest his head on my chest, his tail wrapped around my ancle, not too tight. We started to watch the sky darken and listen to the demonic sounds of mutant birds
This was perfect... this moment was perfect but most of all having Blitz near to me like this was perfect of all kind..
