Bakugo was dressed differently this time.

He'd still chosen a crewneck sweater, but this time it was dark blue. The same shade as her hero costume, she noted. She didn't comment. He still wore black pants with dark sneakers. A black jacket on top and a grey scarf.

''You look cute.''

''Don't call me that.''

''You told me not to call you dashing, what else do you want me to say?'' Y/n groaned as she walked out of the front door.

''Handsome, hot, God-alike—''

''Now you're pushing it.''

They made it to the train station this time. It was pretty full, people going back home from school or work. Y/n had managed to score a seat while Bakugo stood next to her, holding onto the bar above, holding a light conversation on the way.

It didn't take long to make it to her house.

Y/n rang the bell and looked at Bakugo. "You nervous yet?"

"Hell, no. They're gonna love me."

"Well, I like your confidence."

"Hah?! What's that supposed to mean?"

The door was throw open before Y/n could retort. Kai stood there with a big smile, looking at Bakugo.

"Hey! Bakugo, you're here!" Kai's smile dropped as he sent a glare to Y/n. He humphed and turned around, walking further into the house.

Y/n rolled her eyes. "This kid, I swear to All Might."

"He's just angry, it'll pass." Bakugo let her walk in first. "Also, why the hell did you ring the bell to your own house?"

". . . That's a very good question, actually."

"Mom! They're here!" Kai's voice boomed through the house.

After putting their shoes neatly to the side, the two walked further into the house. Bakugo had really only been in the hallway and backyard before, so he took the time to take in the scenery this time. The house was smaller than his, but felt just as homey — not that he would ever admit to his parents their house felt homey. Not over his dead body.

There were a lot of family pictures on the walls, ranging from when Y/n was still a kid, to her holding a baby, presumably her brother. It was . . . cute.

"Hey, Mom, Dad!"

Bakugo hadn't realized they'd made it to the kitchen. His gaze fell on her parents and he realized just what perfect mixture she was of them.

"Honey, hey!" Her mother was over the stove, looking over her shoulder. Her eyes fell on Bakugo. "Ah, you must be Bakugo!"

"Nice to finally meet you, son." Y/n's father offered him a hand and Bakugo immediately took it and shook it.

"You too, sir. Ma'am." Bakugo nodded. He'd lied before. Maybe he was a little nervous. He was aware he didn't have the nicest personality, but he couldn't act like a little bitch in front of her parents, could he? They needed to like him, for Y/n's sake. Yeah, definitely for her sake.

"The curry is almost ready, so you two can sit." Y/n's mother said as she stirred the pot. "Hm, where'd Kai go?"

"Probably in his room." Y/n pointed out as she sat down on her usual chair. Bakugo sat in Kai's — she wasn't sure if her brother would be mad or happy to share his seat with his new favorite hero. She wanted to scoff at the thought.

"Could you go call him?" Her father asked as he put down the last of the utensils.

"Yeah, sure—" She stopped as she felt fingers wrap around her wrist. Her eyes met Bakugo's wide ones, his eyebrows furrowed. Everything about him screamed, don't you fuckin' dare leave me alone, Speedy!
