"ɪ'ᴍ ꜱᴏʀʀʏ, ʙᴜᴛ ɪ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ʀᴇᴍᴇᴍʙᴇʀ..."
"Yah! You're kidding... right?" Jungwon blurted out, desperate for this nightmare to end.
Nara's lips curled into a soft smile, a glint of mischief in her eyes. "Yeah, sorry," she teased, a lightness in her tone that shattered the tension in the room.
"Don't ever joke about that again! It's not funny!" Jungwon chided, his voice cracking with a mixture of relief and lingering heartache. Tears welled up in his eyes.
Nara's smile softened, genuine warmth seeping into her gaze as she reached for Jungwon's hand. "I'm sorry, Jungwon. I couldn't resist teasing you," she said, her tone earnest. "But I promise, I'll never joke about something like that again"
Jungwon squeezed her hand, a mix of gratitude and lingering worry swirling within him. "Just don't scare me like that again, okay? I don't know what I'd do if something really happened to you," he admitted, his voice tinged with vulnerability.
Nara's heart ached at his words, and she moved closer to him, enveloping him in a comforting embrace. "I promise, Jungwon. I'll always be here, I won't leave you,"
