Ben opened the car's door and shoved you inside the passenger seat.
"My job is done. I leave the rest to you two" Ben said before he slammed the door shut and ran away.
"What? BEN-" You stopped in your tracks when you felt a touch on your shoulder, making you jolt and scream, covering your eyes for whatever reason.
Immediately the other person too screamed.
"GOSH, it's me, Kristy. Shanks!" Shanks said as he calmed his breathing down. You looked at him as you tried controlling your breath.
A moment of silence
Before you both cracked up laughing.
"Hahaha, who do you think I was? A kidnapper?" Shanks asked while laughing as he started the car.
"Well duh. Gosh, I was scared as hell. I would have pepper sprayed you, you know that?" you spoke as you wiped the tears that were caused when you laughed
Shanks' laughter died down to a small chuckle as he drove.
"So where are you taking me? Is it a date?" you spoke as you put on the seatbelt.
"Take a guess"
"Oh god Shanks, I could have dressed up. I'm wearing a cargo and a hoodie. I look like shit"
"You look beautiful nevertheless" he blurted out.
