The team was given a relaxing day, working around the warehouse to get everything ready for tomorrow's heist. Violet had gone out with Tej to grab some uniforms for them to wear to get into the police station without a hitch. They were finishing up the last few pieces of the heist while Mia went off to the farmers market to grab some things for tonight's dinner.

It felt like old times in the warehouse. People working on cars, food being prepared for the barbecue. It was nice to relax for the day, not having to worry about the idea of Hobbs coming for their asses or Reyes finding their location.

After Violet and Tej arrived back with the spare uniforms, Violet was over by Gisele. Gisele had been cleaning the guns she brought with her. She had been doing that before Violet and Tej left and was still obsessively cleaning them when they returned. Violet didn't question her, at first, but after a while, Violet asked the question.

Gisele looked down at the piece of the gun. "My life looked nothing like yours, Vivi," Gisele began. Violet stared at her. "To be honest, I don't even know myself anymore. I just know the person I'm supposed to be. As for these guns," she gestured her hand across them. "They are the only things in my life that are stable. For the most part." Gisele said.

"I know you said you worked for a cartel, was it really that bad?"

"No, working for the cartel was actually a highlight. Even if I wanted to kill your brother at one point."

"Who hasn't?" Violet smirked briefly.

Gisele chuckled. "No, I..." Gisele couldn't tell Violet what she actually did for a living. While working for the cartel was an interesting experience, she had to work for Braga. It was a mission that she got stuck into for several years. But that still didn't mean that Gisele could tell Violet what she did outside of that, or why she even agreed to help Dom in Rio. "I never had a family like this." Gisele said honestly.

Violet's face fell.

"I was in the foster system for most of my childhood, never being able to settle in one place. And after I aged out, I just took off." There was a reason why Gisele never told anyone her last name, she didn't know it. She was given a last name, several over the years for different missions and tasks, but Gisele didn't know it. "This is the closest thing I've ever had to a family." Gisele said.

Violet took Gisele's hand, giving it a squeeze. Gisele looked from her hand to Violet. "Well, welcome to the family, Gisele."

Before Gisele could say something, Violet's attention was drawn to Brian and Mia. Mia was stopping Brian from getting physical with Vince. Violet was shocked to see Vince standing there.

"Who's that?"

"Vince." Violet answered, getting go of Gisele's hand. "He was part of our crew back in LA." Violet didn't know how to respond. "I didn't know he was in Rio."
