Violet was actually able to go out to the practice sight with Han and Sean. Mr. Nobody took Elle for the day to grab some last minutes things. Mr. Nobody did confirm that Deckard Shaw was in Tokyo, and watching Violet and Han. Mr. Nobody took it upon himself to help them with Elle so they could do their day-to-day routine. They couldn't let Deckard Shaw that there was an extra person attached to them.
So, they decided to show Deckard Shaw what their lives looked like before Elle entered it. They worked at the garage, went to races and had their parties. Mr. Nobody got to play babysitter and was able to learn a little more about Project Aries from Elle herself and how she was the Key. Han and Violet were enjoying their time together, knowing that their days were numbered.
It was only a matter of time before Shaw took his chance to kill them.
Violet was ready to give up her life soon. Now, Mr. Nobody couldn't confirm when Shaw planned on killing them, but they had to be one step ahead of them. There was a plan in motion already – it was Han's idea. For the past year, Han had been stealing directly under the nose of Takashi and the Yakuza. Han felt it was finally time to have Takashi to find out that he was stealing from him.
Han had this whole thing planned out. Violet was going along with it because they didn't have any other plan. They couldn't keep playing this game for much longer.
Violet was a little worried about her family, but Mr. Nobody assured her that he'd keep a good eye on them. Violet wanted to ask him about her brother Jakob, but she kept that to herself. Jakob hadn't shown his face since he made contact. It would seem like Jakob was just in the neighborhood like he said because he was already gone.
Well, to Violet, he was gone.
But in reality, Jakob had been watching her from afar. Not even Mr. Nobody knew about it. He knew where his little sister lived, what she did during the day and knew that she was taking care of Elle. Now, he didn't know why Violet and Han were taking care of some little girl, but Mr. Nobody certainly knew about it.
Hell, Jakob watched Han teach Sean how to drift.
Today was no different.
Violet sat on Han's lap while Sean was practicing his drifting. Ever since he won the race against Takashi's best friend, he was on a high. He wanted to run the course so often that Han couldn't complain. However, Han was just as a decoration because Sean had gotten the hang of drifting all by himself. Honestly, Violet was thoroughly impressed with how quickly Sean got drifting and how good he was. There was a chance that Sean could become the next DK with his skills alone.
Violet happened to be answering Mia's texts during this time while Sean went around the course. Mia was showing her how she planned on telling Brian she was pregnant. As Violet answered her sister, Sean came speeding around and pulling to an abrupt stop.
"Boy needs to chill." Twinkie commented as he played a game on his PSP.
Sean got out of his car, looking back at the tires for a moment. "Hey Twink, I'm gonna grab another set." Violet turned her head as Twinkie shot up from the couch. He jumped onto the table before jumping over Han's extended leg. Han and Violet barely registered the teenager's actions. Han simply drank some beer and read a comic from Twinkie's car.
