"Hummmmmmm…" she murmured softly as she finally steadied herself, standing properly on her feet.

Taking a deep breath, Avantika stepped forward, finally leaving Aadish behind as she walked into their room. Her eyes instinctively scanned the space, and almost immediately, she realized—everything had changed.

The room was nothing like how she had left it in the morning. The bed was now adorned with soft cushions, perfectly arranged, and a warm, inviting atmosphere filled the space. Every little detail spoke of care and effort, but one thing, in particular, caught her attention.

A piece of red cloth hung just above the bed, covering something on the wall—perhaps a frame, or maybe something else entirely.

Her brows furrowed slightly as curiosity sparked within her. What could it be? Why was it covered so deliberately? She took a step closer, her fingers itching to pull the cloth away, but something stopped her. Instead, she turned her head slightly, glancing back at Aadish, who was still standing near the door, watching her every move with an unreadable expression.

"Mr. Rajawat…" Avantika called softly, her voice carrying a mix of hesitation and anticipation.

Aadish, who had been watching her every move with unwavering admiration, stepped forward, now standing right in front of her.

"Yes, biwi?" he responded, his voice deep and teasing.

His words sent a shiver down her spine, and a soft pink hue crept onto her cheeks. She looked up, meeting his intense gaze—one that held something deep, something raw. He was already losing himself in her, in this moment.

Slowly, he closed the remaining distance between them, his hands reaching for her waist. His touch was both firm and delicate, as if he was savoring the feel of her. Before she could react, his lips brushed against her cheek in a soft kiss. A barely audible gasp escaped her lips, her breath catching as his fingers traced slow, teasing patterns along her waist. The warmth of his hands sent a wave of unfamiliar sensations coursing through her, making her shiver under his touch.

Her eyes fluttered open, only to find him already looking at her. Her heart pounded in her chest as he leaned in closer—so close that she could feel his breath mingling with hers.

Was he going to kiss her?

She stood frozen, her body refusing to move. The air between them grew heavier with every passing second, her pulse racing as he inched even closer, his lips just a whisper away from hers…

Meanwhile, Aadish’s thoughts were entirely different. As he watched her flushed cheeks, her shy smile, and the way she trembled under his touch, something deep within him stirred. Every brush of her skin against his sent a slow, burning heat through his veins, making him clench his jaw to hold himself back.

He moved even closer, so near that their breaths mingled, warm and uneven, as if they were breathing the same air—existing in the same moment, in the same unspoken desire.

But instead of closing the distance between their lips, he did something else. Gently, he lowered his forehead to hers, letting them touch in the softest, most intimate way.
