Chapter 20: Bleeding Heart

It has been a month and everyone still couldn't move on from this case.

Mary has already died 2 days ago because her cancer won, Alfonso died because of a heart disease a week ago, Martha's death made it worse, now he's all alone if Catherine wasn't there.

But he acted as if Catherine doesn't exist, which made her feel neglected, but she understood his situation.

He lost his brother, 3 daughters, and his wife in a year, he doesn't want to live anymore.

Meanwhile, everyone has gave up because the case is too confusing.

But the detective hasn't gave up yet, the 4 girls should get the justice that they deserve and he won't stop until he finds who the culprits are.

He bumped into Adam, "You're the detective, right?"

"I am, and you are?"

"Adam, Arthur Shire's friend, I think I know who the killer is..."

Adam leads the detective inside his house and inside his bedroom, "I know who they are" Adam opens the drawer and showed him the photo of the same group who barged into Arthur's house when they were out of town.

"There are 5 people here, this is the same group of killers who were barging into different houses in this neighborhood"

The detective raised his eyebrows, "How can I make sure that these are the same people who killed the Dock and the Shire family?"

"Good thing that Mr. Dock is one of the neighbours, Mr. Dock is still in my bathroom"

"What?"

They heard a flush coming from the bathroom, "Why is Mr. Dock here?"

"He also needed justice for his grandchildren's death and we noticed how great you are as the detective."

Mr. Dock entered the bedroom, "Detective! You're here! We meet again" Mr. Dock grabbed an envelope and showed him the pictures, "These photos are taken by my neighbours, and as you can see, these 5 people are the same people in that photo about the Shire's house robbery"

The detective took a closer look, "Oh my goodness..."

The detective kept the photos inside his bag, "Thank you for cooperating, I will alarm the family and the police about this"

The detective was on his way out and he called Arthur again.

Arthur was annoyed but he has to take the call, "Hello?"

"Mr. Arthur? This is the detective, I know who the killers are"

Arthur immediately sat up, "Really?"

"May you come to my office?"

"Yes! Thank you!"

Arthur hung up and brought his bag, "Where are you going, Papa?"

But Arthur didn't answer her question and left the house, leaving her sad.

After a few minutes, Arthur is finally inside his office, the detective have already alerted the police and now they're looking for the killers.

The detective showed Mr. Dock's photos, "Mr. Dock told me that these are taken by his neighbors after the death of his grandchildren, see? 5 people with masks on, and this one-" He showed Adam's photo, "Mr. Adam took this photo when you were out of town, this is when your house was robbed."

"But Adam said he was out of town... Or maybe he took a photo of it..."

Arthur was thinking about something, "So... My son, George hired them? Because it's only him who drew his creepy drawings and told us the statement and that was exactly what happened to our family after he ran away"

"George indeed hired these men..."
