When the conversation died down the two sat in an awkward silence which none of them knew how to break. Yesterday's events had really killed the progress that they had.

"Hey Hyunjin..." Y/N called finally deciding to break the silence.

"Yeah?" He answered now looking at her and away from his hands that seemed to have been interesting for the past few minutes.

"I'm sorry." She said making him look at her in confusion.

'What could she possibly be apologizing for when she has done nothing wrong?' He thought to himself.

"What are you sorry for?" He asked.

"I am sorry for whatever I did to you in the past. I know that I might not remember but I hope that you can one day for-" Her words were soon cut off.

"Y/N, I told you that you have done nothing wrong. If anyone has to apologize its me. I'm the one who hurt you and if I could turn bavktime to stop myself I would. I wish that I could have just listened to you back then instead of letting my emotions blinden me." He said and now she was the one looking at him in confusion.

"What did you do?" Y/N asked and Hyunjin opened his mouth to say something but soon closed it again.

He wanted to tell her the truth but thought about what the doctor previously said. Telling her the truth could possibly make things worse for her like sending her into a state of shock or even causing her to have a miscarriage.

"I am sorry but I can't tell you... the doctor advised against telling you about your past. He said it would be better if you just remembered on your own." Hyunjin explained with a small frown.

Y/N felt very dejected about this but who was she to go against the doctor's orders. She just nodded while looking down making Hyunjin feel even worse that he could not at least give her the truth.

"I'm really sorry... If it didn't risk your health and wellbeing I would definitely tell you everything." He apologized.

"It's okay... I know that you are just looking out for me." She reassured him, to which he gave her a small smile.

Silence fell between the two of them again but this time it wasn't as long as before as Hyunjin spoke up.

"How about we do something fun today? You've been cooped up in this room for too long and I think that some sun would do you some good. We could have a small picnic in the garden." He suggested but Y/N looked at him skeptically.

"It's okay if you don't want to of course." He added noticing her hesitant look.

Y/N felt very reluctant about agreeing but the thought of her children popped up. She remembered how happy they were the first time that they were outside and she wanted to see them that happy again. Sure Taejoon had been spending a lot more time out of the room but Aerie wasn't.

"Sure we can do that." She agreed making Hyunjin's eyes light up almost immediately.

"Are sure you are okay with it?" Hyunjin asked even though he was pretty excited about her answer.

"Yeah I am. As you said the sun would do us some good." She smiled, the fear and unease from the previous day was slowly fading away.

"Okay then. We'll have the picnic around twelve. I'll prepare everything and then come get you and the kids. He explained and she nodded in agreement.

The two of them talked for a little while longer before Hyunjin left to go prepare everything for the picnic.

A few minutes before twelve He came to pick them up and to say Taejoon was excited was an understatement. The little boy was practically bouncing off the walls which made his mother and Hyunjin very happy.

They soon made it to the garden where Taejoon began running around, laughing loudly in pure glee. Aerie was also clearly very happy as well as she thrashed her little limbs around in Hyunjin's hold.

Hyunjin had already set the things up for the picnic so all they had to do was just sit down and eat.

As the picnic went on Y/N couldn't help but to feel dazed at the sight before her. Hyunjin sat there with Aerie on his lap. He was feeding her strawberry pudding and to say the baby loved it would be an understatement.

Whenever she finished a bite she would let out a loud and satisfied 'mmm' which made Hyunjin smile or even giggle every single time from how cute the baby was. The scene made Y/N's heart race which she did not like.

She knew what the feeling was and she knew that she shouldn't have been feeling that way because of what she had gone through.

Her life was mess and there was no possibility of any future romances for her. She had to kids and one more on the way who she had to look after.

And even if she did decide to indulge in such a thing she highly doubted that a man like Hyunjin would want to be involved with a broken woman like her who had children with that horrible man... Plus she had yet to figure out what she had done to him in the past.

Hope y'all are well and I'm sorry for making you wait for so long. This story doesn't seem to be going anywhere but I promise it will get better. Some drama is coming up soon.
