The Monday after the Championship game, Isabella walked into Ms. Darbus' classroom, dropping a note on Troy's desk as she walked past it, telling him to meet her during free period.

"All right, everyone. Settle down." Ms. Darbus told the class as they all sat down in their seats and got quiet. "We are all excited about our Wildcats' top-to-bottom championships."

"That would be 'back-to-back'." Chad corrected Ms. Darbus with a smirk.

"Whatever the case, it was a grand slam." Ms. Darbus told Chad with a smile, causing the class to laugh. "Well done! And our student body president and co-editor of the yearbook, Taylor McKessie, has important announcements. Taylor."

Taylor got up from her desk, grabbed a pointer, and went over to the chalkboard in the back of the classroom.

"Senior trip committee meets tomorrow and reports Thursday to prom committee, headed by Martha. Pick up your tickets from her. This year's theme is 'The Last Waltz'. But don't be last to pick up tickets." Taylor said pointedly as she walked in between the desks, slamming her pointer down on Chad's desk. "Graduation committee convenes Monday. Picture deadline is Thursday and finals study groups alternate with all of the above. Questions?"

"What's the lunch special in the cafeteria?" Chad asked as he raised his hand causing the rest of the class to laugh.

"New York deli." Taylor said with a smirk, causing the rest of the class to oh as Chad lost his smile. "Anyone else?"

"Moving on." Ms. Darbus said as she walked over to Taylor and grabbed the pointer from her, causing Taylor to go sit back down in her seat. "Ms. Sharpay Evans, four-term president of the drama club, spring musicale report."

"Well, with prom, finals, everyone is so busy." Sharpay said as she stood up from her seat and walked over to the front of the room with a smirk on her face. "I was thinking I'd select something modest. Perhaps even a one-woman show."

"A little light on the sign-ups, Kelsi?" Ms. Darbus asked in confusion as Kelsi frantically wrote down on her clipboard as everyone else looked around in shock.

"No. We're actually doing pretty well." Kelsi said as she stood up from her desk, handed her clipboard to Ms. Darbus and then quickly sitting back in her seat and slouching down.

"Well, well, well. Almost the entire homeroom. How inspiring!" Ms. Darbus said happily, causing the class to gasp in shock and turned to Kelsi in unison who quickly hid from all of the eyes. "I will happily see all of you at free period to discuss the show and to make a very special announcement."

Troy turned back to look at Isabella in disbelief and she shrugged her shoulders in confusion just as the bell rang.

After leaving Ms. Darbus' room the group of friends quickly ran after Kelsi as they followed her to the auditorium, complaining the whole time about what she did. Isabella trailed after the group, being the only person who wasn't complaining as they followed Kelsi over to her piano.
