The next day, during their free period, Isabella, Gabriella, and Taylor were in the yearbook room going through some of the pictures they had taken for the yearbook. All of a sudden Chad and Troy walked into the room, with Chad carrying a hot pan that he quickly set down on Taylor's table.
"Compliments of Zeke." Chad told Taylor who had gasped in shock and looked up at Chad with a grin. "Be careful, they're still hot."
"But he doesn't know they're gone yet. So you have to eat all the evidence." Troy told Taylor before he walked over to Isabella and stood behind her as he placed his hands on her shoulders.
"Kissing up to the yearbook editors." Gabriella teased the boys as she walked past them.
"That's a very smart move." Isabella added as she looked up at Troy with a smirk.
"Well, Chad's hoping for two pages on himself." Troy joked as he looked over at Chad with a smirk, causing the girls to laugh. "Maybe even a third page, just for his hair."
"Hey, what's right is right." Chad shrugged his shoulders with a grin before he wrapped an arm around Taylor's shoulders. "Oh, Hoops, by the way, could you take me after school to check out that tuxedo?"
Troy nodded his head with a smirk as he, Isabella, and Gabriella shared a look before turning back to watch their best friend's.
"Tuxedo?" Taylor asked in confusion. "For what?"
"For prom." Chad told Taylor with a soft smile.
"Oh, Honey, if that's what you call an invitation, you'll be dancing with yourself." Taylor told Chad with a smirk before knocking the basketball out of his hand and standing up and walking away, causing Troy, Isabella, and Gabriella to burst out laughing.
"Ohh." Troy groaned out as Chad looked at the other three, shocked, while Troy kissed the back of Isabella's head to try and contain his laugh.

During lunch break, Isabella sat at her usual table on the main floor of the cafeteria with Kelsi, Gabriella, Taylor and Martha. They were just hanging out talking, studying, and eating when all of a sudden Chad and Troy walked up behind them with Chad holding some flowers and Troy holding Chad's basketball.
"So... Hey." Chad spoke up nervously from behind the girls. "I was kind of wondering if you'd... maybe go with me."
"Oh, hey, Chad." Taylor exclaimed in shock, pretending that she hadn't heard a word Chad had said, causing the other girls to share amused smiles. "They have Tuna Surprise on the menu. It's good. Really good."
"Taylor." Chad said softly as Taylor just continued to eat her lunch. "Hey, I'm asking you to prom."
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I can't hear you because it's so loud." Taylor spoke loudly before she turned to the girls. "Did you hear something?"
