Cal rushed to connie and checked for a pluse. It took a few seconds for him to find one but he did. It was very slow. He called for an ambulance and set off to find what she had taken. Anti depressant.
'For gods sake connie, what the hell all you needed to do was talk to me!'
The ambulance arrived and cal opened up the door to fin dixie and tamzin.
'Cal? What are you doing here'
Cal explained while sprinting up the stairs to connies side.
'between you two and me. I was with connie this evening we came here to her house and I turned on the tv and there was grace she ran up the stairs in tears locked the door behind her and took anti depressant pills but I don't know how many she took'
'Right ok tamzin get a stretcher, and cal she will be fine ok?'
Cal just nodded he couldn't say anything. He was deep in thought of how he couldn't lose connie, not now not ever.
When they got to the hospial dixie rallied of her obs and BP.
Zoe was treating her and was stunned by how it was connie.
'cal? How the hell did this happen?'
All of a sudden connie coughed and woke up!
'Cal! Where am I. Where's cal?'
'Connie connie it's fine I'm here. Why were you takeing anti depressant all you needed to do was talk to me!'
Connie couldn't do anything but burst into tears. 'I'm so sorry cal it won't happen again I just want to go home'
'Ok connie it's zoe I can send you home in a couple of hours ok I just need to check you over ok?'
'Ok thanks zoe'
Zoe took cal aside for a moment.' Look why don't you go get a coffee there's nothing you can do here'
'Ok but if anything changes you come and get me straight away'
'Got it'
Cal had been in the staff room for two hours when zoe knocked on the door and walked in. 'Right cal good news and bad which one do you want first?'
'Bad'
'Right well she can not take anymore anti depressant pills because she just had a allergic reaction to it which is why her heart was beating at a dangerously slow pace'
'And good news?'
'She's is asking for you and yoh can take her home but I do need you to stay with her for a couple of nights ok?'
'Right got it can I go see her?'
'Yeah sure'
Cal sprinted into resus to see the love of his life sat up in her bed looking so bored. He sat down next to her.
'I nearly lost you!'
'I know can you take me home
' I kinda have to and zoe said I have to stay with you for a couple of nights just to make sure you are ok ok?'
'Cal for all I care you can bloody move in. I love you cal I always have done'
'And connie I love you two just don't ever scare me like that again!'
'I won't I promise'
'Good let's get you home and get you to bed'
Once connie was discharged cal took her home and put her to bed. As he was just about to close her door he heard connies voice call his name.
'Yeah what's up'
'You don't have to sleep on my couch you know just jump in'
'Oh ok my god I do love you'
'I love you to. Just come her and kiss me for gods sake'
'Happily'
There lips clashed together and that followed a deep kiss. Connie fell asleep on cals chest and cal fell asleep with his arm around connie.
