Sorry i havent posted in ages i have been so busy! Here's the next chapter i hope you like it xx
next day connie had to work. The last time she had grace and had to work it didn't go to plan.
Connie was up and dressed by 7:30 so she decided to go and wake up grace. She knocked on the door but there was no answer so she went in.
Grace was still fast asleep so connie gently shook her until she woke.
'Hey it's only mum'
'Oh morning'
'Morning now listen I have to work today so you have two choices, you can sit in office all day and play on my Ipad or you we can see if essie will let you sit with cal for the day'
'Erm no offence mum but your office is really boring so van I sit with cal'
'That's fine sweetheart, right well you need to be ready in 30 minutes ok? Good girl"
'40 minutes later they were at the hospital and we're on their way to Keller when they met essie in the lift.
'Hey essie' Said grace in her jolly voice.
'Hey grace'
All of a sudden connies pager went off.
'Oh shit I completely forgot, grace I am really sorry but I am late for a meeting. Essie would it be alright for grace to sit with cal for the day?'
'Yeah that's fine I will keep an eye on her'
'Thank you so much and grace I will take you out for lunch'
The lift stopped and essie and grace got out while connie stayed til the next level because she had a meeting with the board.
Connie was in the meeting for 2 hrs. As soon as she was allowed to go she did because she couldn't stand the board. Always arguing over something.
When she left she went to Keller to go and see what grace and cal were up. She opened the doors to fined people crouching around the bottom of cals bed. but cal was still in the bed. She ran over to go and see what the problem was. It was grace.
Grace was living on a heap in the floor haveing some sort of fit. Essie was keeping her head still while dom was sedating her.
'Cal what the hell happened?'
'She collapsed on the floor. But I don't understand why, she doesn't have epilepsy does she?'
'No she dosent' Said connie almost in tears at the site of her daughter.
Once grace was calm again essie got up and spoke to connie and cal.
'Right we are going to admitte her find her a bed and the first thing that will be her treatment will be that we take her for a CT scan'
'Ok I need to call charlie and let him know what is happening and where I am'
Connie sat down and got out her phone while grace went to CT.
'Charlie?... yes its connie... I am fine don't worry its just I went to go and check up ok grace and cal on Keller after the meeting and when I walked through the doors I saw grace on the floor haveing a fit so j am going to stay on Keller for the rest of the day... yes I will come down later... yep ok see you later oh and charlie zoe is in charge or Dylan if she can't handle it... ok bye'
'Right now thats sorted I can concentrate on you and grace'
30 minutes later grace was back from CT and the results were clear.
'Right grace your results are clear so we don't know what brought on the fit but we will have to keep you in for 5 days maximum just for observation'
'Ok' Said grace. She was nearly asleep she was so tired.
Connie sat next to her bed and stroked her hair until she fell asleep. Then she got up went to tell cal that she was just going down to the E.D to talk to charlie.
Connie walked out thinking the people she love is in hospital what is she doing wrong?
