Bakugo tiredly walked into his home and into the bathroom. He peeled the sweaty, mud-covered, clothes from his body. The void had evolved into something like their little oasis. During the "daytime" it was a large blue sky with big fluffy clouds stretched across a beautiful green field.

At "nighttime" the sky grew dark and was full of big beautiful stars. It was split into four large areas, one for spring, summer, fall, and winter. It was so they could experience whatever season they wanted anytime they wanted.

Some days it even rained and others it was super windy. There was small towns and communities full of the omega's who couldn't help in the war. They were all sent to the void where they would be safe.

The town had replica's of businesses, homes, recreational activities, apartments, and more. The pack had a total of four large mansions similar to castles. There was one in each area specifically for them.

Unfortunately everyone had to grow and farm their own food but they didn't mind. This was a world made for them and it was massive. They had their own little community where everyone was safe and close to each other.

Bakugo looked at himself in the mirror and scowled at the dark circles under his eyes. Nowadays when he isn't governing everyone he would just work in the farms for hours and hours. When he was forced to rest he'd go home and stay there as long as he could until he had to start the cycle all over again.

Bakugo took a quick shower and scrubbed himself clean. After that, he ate his one sandwich of the day. He then went to a bedroom with a secure door. He unlocked it and stepped inside cracking the door behind him.

The room was full of beautiful flowers surrounding a large bed. On the bed laid the bodies of Izuku and Kaminari. Bakugo walked over to his mates and laid down beside them. This is where he sleeps every day after they left for the mission. He can't fall asleep without laying next to them.

Three and a half years...

That's how long they've been gone. That's how long Bakugo's been waiting for them to come back. At first, they all were ok. Even after two weeks, they were doing fine. After four months Sero cracked first and broke down.

Two months after that Kirishima was right behind him. They were heavily depressed. Bakugo kept going strong, he kept his promise to Izuku. Once a year hit Kirishima and Sero got it together. They had pups to care for and an Alpha who couldn't do everything alone.

Kirishima helped the adults with creating systems for sharing resources. Dove and Sero opened up a learning facility with a few other Omega's. They had lots of pups in their community that needed to be taught.

Everyone soon forgave Hōseki after months of her trying to fix things. Everyone except for the pack of course. They tolerated her because of their love for Mina but that was it. Everyone continued being strong and working hard so that the Omega's would be proud once they returned.

Halfway into the second year things took a turn for the worst. Everyone in the void simultaneously felt the unbearable pain. Izuku's pain, it was only for a minute but it scarred each of them. Some people began losing hope, they thought it was a sign that they wouldn't be coming back.

They gave up on ever seeing them again. They feared the worst, they even had a memorial. They thought they died, they started to move on. It's like they just forgot about them. This pissed Bakugo off, it broke him, this time it was him who cracked.

He secluded himself from everyone. He took his mate's bodies and disappeared with them. He hid them away from everyone. They hadn't decayed yet, they were still alive. Everyone saw it yet they still denied it. Bakugo refused to mourn, he refused to move on, he refused to give up, he refused to forget.
