Izuku placed the tulips against the base of the large glowing tree, its bow still untouched as it fluttered with the breeze. Ōkami lay curled against it as both Keigo and Touya stood on either side of him. They said a quiet prayer before each of them kissed the trunk of the tree and placed a small present at its base.
They moved to the side to let their packs go up and leave a present as well. Izuku smiled softly and wiped a lone tear as his brothers hugged him tightly and shed their own tears. Today was the anniversary of Ochaco's death as well as what would have been her thirty-second birthday.
Around them were hundreds of people leaving gifts and presents by the tree, the entire pack was there to pray for their oldest member. Izuku had decided this spot would now be known as the pack's burial ground or family plot so that she wouldn't be alone anymore.
However, their life spans are rather long so she'd have to hold out for a while before anyone joins her. He smiled sweetly as he watched Hachirou try to feed a blushing Seiji strawberries.
They mirrored the younger him and Katsuki so much he was starting to think they could be the mated reincarnations. Honestly, at this point, he wouldn't even be surprised if that turned out to be true.
"I wonder what happens to all the gifts we keep leaving," Keigo mumbled.
"She takes them," Izuku answered.
"What?" Touya looked confused.
"Well, she became something like a diety after we took over the heavens and you all praying and leaving gifts is like worshiping her so she received your gifts like offerings," Kozā explained as he hugged Izuku.
"We should try to visit her for her next birthday," Izuku thought to himself.
"Yeah I don't think we can go there like you can," Keigo chuckled.
"I just hope she's happy up there, that's enough for me," Touya smiled.
Izuku looked down feeling tugs on his pants, "Mama 'm sleepy," Kozuki said quietly.
Izuku smiled and pent down picking up his pups, they laid their heads on his shoulders. The group went back to their conversation, now speaking much quieter than before.
"Ah I've been wondering where Yagi is, I haven't seen or heard about him since we came back," Izuku held his pups securely.
"Oh yeah, you don't know," Shinso said as Shoto came over, "He passed away a few years ago after having a heart attack. Koichi surprisingly didn't handle it very well,"
"Well he was like an uncle to her since he's watched over her since her birth," Shoto reminded.
"I'm pretty sure she was the only one who loved him, I don't get why she would though," Touya shook his head.
"Aren't you guys being a little insensitive? He passed away..." Eri said quietly, having been in earshot.
"He tried to kill Izu on multiple occasions and nearly killed me, he's lucky we let him die on his own," Keigo scoffed.
"I understand that, let's just focus on the positive," She smiled a little and Yamada patted her head agreeing.
Kozā kissed Izuku's cheek several times making the man chuckle, "I thought you grew out of that mushy phase,"
"How can I when you look so beautiful? Everything about you is so cute I don't think I'll ever stop obsessing over you," Kozā kissed him all over his face some more.
"Stop~ I'm so old now I'm not cute anymore," He smiled.
"You're the cutest thing to walk this earth, the only thing cuter than you is your children," Kozā hugged him from behind and bent down kissing his forehead.
