While we were reading the notes, that idiot Neel noticed my dairy opened beside him.
Well I know he is a gentleman and would not peek the diary but me being me yelled at him;"No!!!!!"
"What!? I won't look at it Alright? I am not that manner less. " He stated as if assuring me but the diary was not the problem, the photo I hid inside it was...
As Neel picked up the diary to close it, a photo fell from it making my eyes shut tightly.
"You have kept this photo till now?? " He asks me with all his focus on that photo.
It was our very first photo clicked by Avni when we went to amusement park during our first year..Back then I flaunted that I would burn the photograph as she handed me and Neel the same photo and here I am cherishing the photo...
"Give it back!" I yell at him in hushed manner while he just smirked , god knows what he is cooking in his mind.
" I thought ye photo jal k rak hogaya but someone is cherishing it huh?" He teases me while all embarrassed, I charge on him hoping to get my grip on that photo.
As I reached my hands on the photo, I found my face really close to Neel. I could hear heartbeat, wait is it mine or his? I thought to myself because when I hastily distanced my face from his, my hairstrands stuck on his button making my head fall on his chest.
"Help me" I murmur while instead of helping me, Neel just hugged me .
I noticed his heart rate was unusually fast.
"Are you having trachechardia?" I ask him concerned.
"Yes, it feels like my heart will tear the thoracic cavity and jump out due to happiness. " He replies in his deep voice.
"Wh-y?" I ask him nervously.
"Topper hone ka Kya faida? When your this dense!- Ofcourse its because of you! I like you damn it!!" He answers this time a little louder while bells were ringing and my heart begun tying knots.
"What-What did you say??" I ask him again if what I heard was a dream.
"I said-I like you, infact I like you very much which makes me want to annoy you everytime, I like how you frown when I beat you in tests, how you scrunch your nose when I tease you and how you roll your eyes when I come near you...and love how you are on me now.." he blurted out untangling the hairstrands while my internal self was screaming with joy.
Redness spread my cheeks when my hair was finally untangled and still Neel was reluctant to release me from his one hand hug.
Without thinking any further, I pressed my lips against his lips. I noticed Neel widening his eyes at my sudden action but soon he gave in and savoured the sweetness.
*Thud*
"Uff..My EyEs!!! HoLy MoLy! BuRnT PiZzA In ThE OvEn!!" We hear Virat acting all dramatic while I get embarrassed.
"Carry on tomorrow guys! We have to go now!! " Virat adds being half serious and half tease.
Hearing those words I withdrew myself from Neel while he was smiling ear to ear.
As he gets up and was about to depart, he caughts me off guard with placing sudden peck on my lips saying, "Goodnight sweetheart ".
"Hogaya tum logo ka chummachati? Chale ab?" Virat says while Neel just glared at him and soon they climb down the window.
Witnessing Neel's departing figure, as he sends flying kiss to me I smiled at him and closed the window after he disappeard.
'Ahhhhhh!!!! It felt so unreal!' I wrapped myself with my arms reminiscing each moment...

As I opened my room with my spare key, I found Sneha burying her head in her knees.
"Avnii, You're back!!" She says hearing my footsteps flashing me her sweet smile..
"I am back but what are you so happy about??" I ask her curiously.
"Well, don't freak out but I've got something to tell you.." She answers nervously.
"Hmm..ok..I am listening!" I say making myself comfortable on my bed while my eyes fixed on Sneha.
"Well-Neel is -my - boyfriend-now" she blurted in one breath shutting her eyes.
I was in utter shock that the jani-dusman took a 360° turn and became lela-majhnu??
"Whaaat???" I tell in utter shock.
"Let me make some coffee" I added and Sneha realized that I need the whole tea spilled. Yup it's my metaphor if I want to listen the whole story.
"So-basically-I-had a crush on him since our 1st year----------- " hence Sneha tells me her sweet love journey while I listen her feeling genuinely happy for her!!!
