After ng day-off ko balik trabaho na rin kaagad lalo na't there's some changes about their world tour concert this month of December. They cancel it. I don't know why but it is under control by the management. We received a notice that we're going to have a meeting today, just the coordinators only. 

While wait for the others, some of my co-coordinator were having conversation about something. I asked Lj what is it all about, but even her didn't know about it. Tumahimik naman ang lahat nang dumating na ang Vice President. It's Erick, if you still remember.

The meeting have been started, the president have been arrived too. They discussed about the changes about the concert and the new album that was about to release.

"Since this band debuted since 2019 with there single album 'wave', and after three months they released an another single album 'light' which became top hit in 2019." the vice president stated. 

"So we come up with the idea na instead of mag-release ng panibagong album, those two single album were having extended play. Meaning, it contains more than a single music, but it is too short to be called music album. Usually, it contains only 4 to 6 track per EP." he continued.

"Unlike music album, is is too short to qualify as a full-length album." he added.

Nagsitanguan naman ang mga kasama ko, and Lj as well. Not bad.

"So to be fair, since na simulan na natin mag create ng ilang tracks, we will reformat it as extended play." the executive director stated. "We talked about this together with the artists, and they agree with it." sabi niya. "I expected those directors na makiisa para sa gagawin nating project." sabi niya pa, dahilan na mapatingin sa'kin si Lj, binigyan ko naman siya ng makahulugang tingin.

Another work na naman, but it's for the best.

"We will send via e-mail the line up of those extended play albums." sabi ng executive director. at doon natapos ang meeting. Naging maingay ulit ang meeting room when the facilitators and mangement left.

I didn't know na mag-a-agree rito si Daniel. I wondered what's on his mind.

I go back to my office. I was bit drained after that meeting. I rest for a while at least a minute. After that break I decided to go down in our building, meron kasing coffee shop don, and I am also hungry.

When I went down, walang tao. I like it, tahimik. 

I ordered at the counter one espresso, I was craving for the waffles as well and ordered that too. When In got my order, I sat beside the glass window kung san tanaw ko ang mga sasakyan

"P'wede ba 'kong makiupo?"  napatingin ako, it's Daniel. Natigilan naman ako, hindi ko man lang namalayan. Kailan pa siya  nakapasok ng shop?

Napatingin naman kami sa mga servers na nakatingin sa gawi namin.

Fuck...

Wala naman akong nagawa. What's his business here?

"Is it good?" biglang tanong niya nang maupo siya sa harapan ko. 

I look at him diligently and professionally lalo na't nakamasid ang mga server sa'min, and I don't want to create a another issue na si Daniel Kim natagpuang nakikipag-date sa isanng coffee shop.

"About the extended play... why did you agree with it." anong nasa isip mo?

He pursed his lips without breaking his gaze at me. I feel little conscious sa mukha ko dahil do'n. Why the heck he's looking at me like that? 

"Hmm... it's just because I thought it was a better idea." he said. "Bakit, hindi ba maganda?"

I shook my head off. "No, I just wondering."

"You know, songs have lives too. They carry memories, emotion, and stories that resonate with us deeply... Sometimes even shaping our experiences and feelings." he with a wistful smile, his eyes reflecting the depth of his emotions. "That's why I want the story of my songs to continue kaya pumayag ako sa extended play."

I couldn't speak after he uttered those words forming in his mind. His thoughts hung in the air, heavy with unspoken truths and lingering emotions. He's truly deep like the ocean.

"About the new track..." when I shifted to another topic. He knitted his brows. "May new track ka raw na isasama?" I asked.

"Saan mo naman nalaman 'yan?" he said, gently. 

Ba't parang hindi niya alam? Baka mamaya fake news pala 'yung sinabi sa'kin ni Lj.

"Kay Lj."

He let out a breath. "Hindi ko na itinuloy... I'm not ready to release that song yet."

I don't know what he's referring to... I just let him be. At least I know what his intentions are. It's better to give him space to figure things out on his own.

Kinagabihan, nakauwi na ako late 10PM. As usual, lagi namang nakakapagod. Hindi pa ba ako sanay? 

Pumunta ako ng kuwarto para kumuha ng damit ko para mag half bath bago ako mahiga ng kama. I've eaten already at work. While letting the cold water drip downonto my body, I closed my eyes, easing away the fatigue from the entire day.

Matapos akong maligo ay pumunta ako vanity table ko to dry up my hair using the blower. Binuksan ko naman ang laptop ko, at binuksan ang email.

When I finished reading the email, I sighed deeply as I closed my laptop. I could no longer fight off the drowsiness, so I went straight to bed and fell asleep.
