Sorry this took so long!

Kind of a continuation but not really

Y/N was in the middle of the city when they felt the shift. The cursed energy surrounding one of Sukuna fingers that she has carefully placed, had vanished, like smoke dissipating into the air. A cold dread settled in their stomach. They searched for answers, torturing one of an Jujustu elder until they whispered of a boy who had swallowed one of Sukuna's fingers.

Their heart sank. Sukuna had a new vessel.

It didn't take long for Y/N to find him. The boy was younger than they expected—Itadori Yuji, they'd learned his name was—and he looked far too kind, far too human to be housing a monster like Sukuna. But there was no mistaking the sharp crimson eyes that occasionally flickered in Yuji's otherwise gentle gaze. Sukuna was there, lurking beneath the surface.

Y/N approached Yuji cautiously. They weren't sure what Sukuna might do if he sensed them, and they weren't even sure what they wanted from this encounter. But when Sukuna's familiar energy flared, Y/N knew they had to act.

Yuji, startled by the sudden confrontation, froze as Sukuna's face emerged on his cheek.

"Well, well," Sukuna's voice rumbled, his grin wicked as he recognized Y/N. "Look who couldn't stay away."

Y/N's breath caught. Seeing him like this—fragmented, imprisoned in another body—felt wrong. He didn't belong here, not like this.

"You moved on quick." Y/N said carefully, their voice steady despite the storm of emotions churning inside them.

Sukuna chuckled darkly, his tone dripping with mockery. "Moved on? Don't be so dramatic. This boy is nothing more than a tool, a stepping stone to reclaiming what's mine." His crimson eyes narrowed, locking onto Y/N. "And you, little one, are still mine."

Yuji, clearly confused and uncomfortable, interjected, "Uh, sorry, but... who are you? And why is Sukuna acting weirdly possessive?"

Y/N ignored Yuji, their gaze never leaving Sukuna's. "You're trapped, aren't you? Bound to him."

Sukuna's grin faltered for a fraction of a second before his arrogance returned. "Trapped? Hardly. This is temporary."

But Y/N saw through his bravado. For all his power, Sukuna was no longer in control—not entirely. He was tethered to Yuji, a boy who seemed to suppress Sukuna from fully controlling him.

"I don't know what you're planning," Y/N said, their voice laced with quiet determination, "but I'm not going to let you destroy this boy. He's not even a sorcerer."

That's what she thinks.

Sukuna's expression darkened, his crimson eyes blazing with fury. "Don't forget who you're talking to, Y/N. I made you like this. Don't test my patience."

But Y/N didn't flinch. They had seen the cracks in Sukuna's facade, the moments where his humanity—however faint—shone through. And they weren't going to back down now.

Yuji, still trying to make sense of everything, spoke up again. "Okay, seriously, someone explain what's going on here. Who are you, and why does Sukuna seem... different with you?" And why were you talking to the king of curses???

Y/N glanced at Yuji, their expression softening. "It's complicated," they said quietly. "But I know what he's capable of, and I know you're in danger because of him."

Sukuna growled, his voice a low rumble. "Don't fill the brat's head with lies."

But Y/N ignored him, focusing on Yuji. "I'm not going to let him hurt you," they promised. As much as she "liked" chaos, she still had a soft spot for children.

Yuji blinked, surprised by the conviction in their voice. "Thanks, I guess... but I'm not sure what you can do. He's kinda... inside me."

Y/N met Sukuna's gaze one last time, their resolve unwavering. "Then I'll make sure he remembers who he is—who I am. Whether he likes it or not."

Sukuna's grin returned, sharp and dangerous. "You're playing a dangerous game, little one. But I'll admit... I'm curious to see how far you'll go."

Y/N stepped back, their heart heavy but determined. They had lost Sukuna once, but they wouldn't lose him again—not to himself, and not to those damn sorcerers.
