I forgot I had to post on this book

So uh.

Here's a draft.

The air in Y/N's room felt heavy, charged with something she couldn't name. She was sprawled on her bed, scrolling half-heartedly through her phone, when a sharp tug yanked through her chest.

She gasped, clutching at her sternum. The screen blurred, the room seemed to warp. A soundless rip opened before her, and she was falling—no, being dragged—into a void of black water.

And she wasn't alone.

There, suspended opposite her, was... herself.

Same face. Same body. But not the same.

This other girl carried herself differently. There was a sharpness to her presence, a spoiled arrogance simmering beneath her wide-eyed confusion. For a single moment, the two locked eyes.

What—who—?

Neither had time to speak. Their souls collided and slipped past one another like tangled threads. Y/N reached out, fingertips brushing her other self's hand for the briefest instant—then she was wrenched backward, sucked into a body that wasn't hers.

Flashes of memory seared into her skull: velvet halls, glittering chandeliers, boys with hungry smiles and eyes that glowed like jewels. Brothers—hers, but not hers.

Her eyes snapped open.

A canopy bed loomed above her, draped in silk. The room smelled faintly of roses and candlewax. She stumbled upright, clutching her head.

The door banged open.

"There you are." Subaru's voice cut through, rough but tinged with relief. He crossed the room in a few strides, kneeling in front of her like he was checking for injuries. "You didn't come down this morning. I thought something happened."

Y/N blinked at him, struggling to breathe. Subaru Sakamaki. In front of me.

Her throat worked. "I—just overslept."

Before Subaru could reply, Ayato barged in, followed by Laito.

"Oi, don't hog her," Ayato snapped, grabbing her hand and pulling her to her feet. "We were worried too, you know."

Laito leaned in with a lilting grin, brushing her hair back. "Little sister, you can't just vanish. Everything gets so boring without you."

Y/N froze under the weight of their attention. In her own world, no one hovered this close. Here, she was being smothered. The instinct to recoil pressed hard against her ribs—but the flood of inherited memories whispered what she should say.

So she smirked, rolling her eyes. "Honestly. You're all ridiculous. I was sleeping, not dying."

The brothers eased, some with faint smiles, some with annoyed huffs, but they accepted it. Y/N forced her lips to stay curved even as her stomach twisted.

Breakfast was chaos. All six brothers crowded close, fighting to fill her plate, vying for her attention. Y/N picked at her food, tossing out snide remarks when she remembered she had to.

And then Yui Komori entered.

Sunlight kissed her pale hair as she murmured a shy greeting. Y/N's stomach turned. Even before she'd been dragged into this world, she hadn't liked Yui—too sweet, too apologetic. Now, with the brothers fawning over her as well, the irritation was instinctive.
