The End

Slowly I wake up......I've got a breathing tube going down my throat. I start to fight it so I can control my own breathing, I feel a small hand rest on my arm.

"Don't fight it Phonix, for one just don't fight it" I hear Oggie's teary voice...

I try to move my arm over to her but I feel pain shoot through it up my spine, "don't, Phonix when the car hit you it paralyzed your legs and crushed the bones in your arms" I look over to her, she died her hair a natural red/orange color, her face was red and she had tears streaming down her checks. I glance down to my hand then to her eyes and back again. She nods and takes it. A nurse comes in and sees me awake. she walks over and transfer the tube to a nose tube so I can talk.

"O---" my throat is raspy and scratchy. I hear the door open and Oggie smiles through her tears...

"Hay, I brought us some food and her some water if she ever wakes-" Mason voice cracks a bit, I assume he drops the food on a table and grabs the water. He comes and grabs my other hand, and opens the water bottle. Slowly he pour little by little, gratefully I swallow.

"Is he...is he dead" I ask

Oggie takes the remote and clicks the TV on

"Emily Leebroke here, I'm coming back to you on our main story on the escapee. the man escaped then kidnaped the daughter of of the parents he murdered in Concord. He had the girl for 3 days, she then escaped. When she escaped her ankle was broken, but she still ran. Once the escapee found her gone he ran her down with a car crushing Brandy bones and paralyzingly her legs. Amazingly the girl managed the pop the tire and cause a fatal crash that killed Chris-" Mason turns off the remote

"You did it" Mason says

We hear my heart rate speed up..."don't let go Phonix please" Mason begs

"I need you" Oggie whimpers

"Brandy, baby" she says

"Hello" I ask, I sit up painlessly, I then stand, not even connected to the tubes

"It's time you make your choice baby" she says, I see her finally, her blond hair and blue eyes

"Mom...wait a choice" I ask

"Yes, come" she smiles "or stay" she points behind me

"What" I turn and see me...my body Mason holding a crying Oggie and doctors running around me doing everything they can "the doctors they'll bring me back" I say confidently

"They'll do nothing it's your choice, and if they do find a way then it'll be back to your painful broken body" she says

"But" I glance to Oggie and Mason, my best friend and true love

"Baby...come to the light with me" she reaches out a hand

"I can't leave them mom" I feel a hot tear slide down my face

"They'll be here with us before you know it, heaven time runs differently, a year in heaven is about 10 on earth" she promises. I walk over to Oggie and Mason and muster up as much strength as I can...

"Mason, I love you, more than anything..Ill see you soon. Oggie go back to school, I have to do this. I don't belong on earth anymore" I explain to them

Oggie smiles a bit and masons eyes widen "You always where the rebel" Oggie smiles quietly

"Okay mom, I'm ready" I say as I walk over to her and take her hand...

Together we walk into the light, taking me Away, Away from all the pain and struggle of earth...
