Gene entered the Chameleon like his life depended on it!! D: Franz and Alex walked right behind him, with a lot of stuff on their hands. While they tried to find a place to leave it all, Gene ran to the control panel and started pressing buttons with A LOT of speed! :0

He said some things about "tracking down the connection", but I understood none of it. :< But that's not so bad, since I think that'll be my next studying subject! >:D (When I remember what I even studied last time...)

Alex

When me and Franz were finally done placing all of Eloise's old belongings in the Chameleon, we both quickly walked towards Gene.

--It was quite the unstable connection--he explained--. But it should be easy to figure out where it came from.

--You mean the place or the device?--Franz asked.

--Both--Gene then fell silent, focusing entirely on the matter at hand.

The rest of us spent the next few minutes awkwardly glancing at each other, not wanting to utter any words and disturb Gene. Well, most of us, actually. Rock Brock grew bored and really wanted to start yet another one of his serenades. The moment Franz, Twinkle and I saw him open his mouth and take a breath to start singing, we all ran to cover his mouth.

Ruby

I woke up to Alien jumping on my stomach over and over again. My first instinct was to slap him away, but when I actually understood what was going on, I found Lenora judging me with her eyes.

--What are you looking a...--I started, but I quickly stopped myself, since I was trying the whole "less mean" thing. Then I tried to say something different:--Uh... Sorry, Alien. I didn't mean to... Hit you..?

The princess looked at me like I was a three-eyed shark. I shrugged it off and got up. Morgi was waiting for us, looking at something out of the ship.

--Morgi! Hi!--Leonora greeted her.

--The bitches tried to fucking sink us!--she unexpectedly yelled.

--What?!--The princess panicked and immediately ran over to see what was happening on land. She suddenly turned to look at me--. Barbarian, look, it's true!

I decided to check it out too, and I saw Karma and Ana beating the shit out of Sharkbeard and two of his men.

--God fucking damn--I muttered under my breath before getting my ass there to help them.

Sharkbeard immediately stopped trying to pull at Ana's hair when he saw I was joining them. I didn't wait for him to come at me, I swiftly charged against him before he could attack. I noticed the way he looked at my saber. Maybe it could be because the blood on it was still there. It's not like I gave a shit, tho, so I just focused on kicking his ass. But it was harder than I expected... I didn't think my arms would still hurt from the day before!

--Hey, you little...--Sharkbeard, in the middle of the damn fight, suddenly blurted out--. What did you do to Rubens?!

--Me?! What would I do to my father?!

--Please--he muttered, before trying to kick me and raising his voice at me--. You took him away from us! And even if it was annoying, at least we did have him giving us drinks! But now? Now he's nowhere to be found! And CASUALLY--he angrily went for my stomach with his saber, which I hardly dodged--right when you show up, he goes MISSING!

--You sea slug! What makes you think I'd have any interest in doing anything to my father?!--I spat back. I was trying very hard to not get affected by his words, but bringing up my dad was a pretty low blow.
