Last night was so frustrating after the way Jon had left me wanting, no needing more of his touch. There were a few times where I nearly cheated and touched myself but I wanted to be a good girl for him. For the both of them. They phoned me but I was hasty to end the call as hearing their seductive voices was doing me no favours! I could tell they didn't want to end the call so quickly but I fed them the line of that I was exhausted.
I felt like getting out of my flat and going somewhere on my own. I ordered myself a wheelchair accessible taxi and finished getting ready, just in time for the cab to arrive. I give the driver the location and enjoyed watching the world go by as we drive through the city. Once we arrive, I pay him my fare and wait for him to help me out of the vehicle. There's a cute little cafe that I like to visit when it's sunny and the staff know me by now which is lovely. After a brief catch up, they leave me to be in the corner looking out of the window. From where I'm sitting, I can see a crazy golf course to the right and a children's playground to the left side with outdoor tables belonging to the cafe.I find myself watching the people playing on the crazy golf and an old memory flashes back. I was playing against one of my cousins and the somehow managed to hit the ball so darn hard that he rolled round the little obstacle thing and flew into my face on the cheek. It happened that fast, I ended up in shock. I was rushed to hospital. The impact had fractured my cheek bone but thankfully it healed. I've never been back on the crazy golf course since, or any of them. Despite the trauma and how it would take an arm and a leg for me to be willing to play it ever again, it does make me chuckle.
"Kelli?" I hear my name being called by someone but not recognising the voice, I continue to gaze out in front of me. "Kelli-Anne, is that you dear?" Upon feeling someone standing next to me, my head turns towards the voice and I smile when I recognise the person as Marlene, the brothers' mother. "Hi Ms Knight, nice to see you." She leans down to kiss me on the cheek. "May we join you?" She asks. I nod and gesture for her to sit down. "Hey Kelli-Anne, I hope we're not interrupting anything?" Sharon, Marlene's daughter. "Oh no, of course not. I'm just watching everyone outside. I'm good thank you and how are you both?" We catch up for the next hour or so. When we're all finished, both Marlene and Sharon invite me to join them at Marlene's home. They were a little worried about whether I would manage in their car but after reassuring them I'll be fine, we were soon on our way.Sharon brings my wheelchair to me and I manage to transfer from the car to my chair with the two ladies assisting when I need it. I'm in awe when I take a look at my new unfamiliar surroundings. It's a lot different to the brothers' home especially as it's more of like a farmhouse. Marlene gives me a tour of her home and I love the coziness of the place. She even pointed out an empty farmhouse just across the land. "That place there is something our Jonathan has dreamed of buying ever since the boys were young. I don't know if he's still thinking about it though as it has been a while since we last spoke about there." I envisioned what life would be like there with both Jon and Jordan. I could have my chickens, and we could all have our dogs. It looks big enough for the three of us. Would they like that with me? "It's got big enough land to extend it so that they could build an extension for you. It'd be great. I can't ever see Jonathan and Jordan ever being separated, anyone would think they were twins with how close they are. It's kinda cute but you hurt one brother, you also hurt the other one too. A package deal." Sharon adds. "They've always been that way. Just like when Donnie had asked Jordan to join the group, he wanted to invite Jonathan too. I knew I could worry less when the two of them had each other when they were on their travels with the group, especially as teenagers." It warms my heart to hear them talking so fondly. "So how are my brothers treating you, Kelli?" Sharon asks me curiously. "They're great. Both so different yet so alike. It freaks me out still when they end up saying the same thing at the same time, ha!" We're all busy laughing when we hear the front door opening.
I notice the wide eyed expression on both Marlene and Sharon's faces as they look past me, I try to turn in my seat but struggle. "Hey Mom, Sharon and Kelli. I wasn't expecting this..." he gestures towards the three of sitting around the coffee table. He walks over to me and kisses me on the lips. "Hi Jordan." I blush. "Hey baby, you okay?" He smiles at me. "Yes, I'm good. Yourself?" - "why don't you go and make yourself a cuppa son then you can join us." Marlene suggests. I watch as he walks away, to the kitchen I presume. "I bet he thinks we're sharing all of his embarrassing stories with you and maybe we should!" I giggle at Sharon. Marlene rolls her eyes at her daughter with a mischievous smile on her face.A few minutes later and Jordan appears back in the lounge. He's lifted me out of my chair and onto the large sofa next to him. "You two better not be trying to scare this one away?!" He teases his mum and sister, lovingly. I motion a zipper on my mouth just to wind him up, causing both Marlene and Sharon to laugh along at his shocked expression. "Hmm think I need to keep my eye on you, baby." He whispers.
Just as I begin to relax, the front door opens again and I wait for the footsteps. "Hi son, nice to see you too." I twist the best the I can with Jordan's arm around my waist to find Jon's gaze set on me. He and Jordan exchange glances with one another. Then Jordan releases me from his hold and stands up. "We gotta go Mom, we'll pop in again soon." Jordan tells Marlene. I watch as Jon manoeuvres my wheelchair closer to me. Jordan picks me up and places me into the chair. It all happens so fast that my head is spinning by the time I realise I'm in Jordan's car.
