Pepper was knocked out his day thinking by a sharp peck from a Bombirder while he was on a Floatie in the middle of the West Paldean sea!
Bombirder: Your shines will be mine!
The Bombirder prepared a powerful attack but Florian caught the Bombirder before she could.
Florian: Pepper why did you space out? That isn't like you.
Pepper: I'm.....I think the stress from all my friends dying is making me go a little crazy.
Florian:....I know exactly what to do with you. Pepper, you need a break.
Pepper: Really?...I guess this is fine.
Current team: Eggsy-Rufflet, Pinch-Crabrawler, Wanda-Brambleghast, Crispax-Axew, CippyCoppy-Ditto, Malicious-Maerienie
The group began the climb through Dalizapa Pass.
Crispax: Dragon-types don't fare well in cold.
Florian: Deal with it.
Crispax: But-
Florian: Deal with it.
CippyCoppy transformed into a very warm blanket for Crispax.
A Cetoddle walked up to Florian.
Florian: ???
Cetoddle: the cold one needs shelter.
The Cetoddle swiftly took a Pokeball and captured herself with it.
Florian: That was weird. Oh well
The group continued up the mountain.
Eggsy: It's too cold....wings....failing
A random trainer challenged Florian to a battle. It was going well until said trainer sent out a Crabominable.
Eggsy thought she would win but he was grabbed and slammed by the Crabominable until he fainted. The group won anyway but still...
Pinch: Farewell, dear friend who I didn't know for long.
Florian replaced Eggsy for Jimith-Orthworm
The group continued the climb when yet another trainer challenged him, this time with a Cacturne. Florian sent out Wanda
Wanda: I don't know about this.
Florian: Don't care
Wanda unleashed an infestation of bugs on Cacturne. It dealt quite a lot of damage but the Cacturne payed her back with a Dark-type attack that fainted her. Crispax X-scissored the Cacturne away.
Crispax evolved into a Fraxure and Florian replaced Wanda for Fluffkins-Pawmo
The group continued to climb the mountain and eventually they reached Montenevera.
Florian: We're here....I'm surprised you aren't affected by the cold, Pinch?
Pinch: I guess I like it cold and mountainous.
Montenevera had candles and chill vibes all through the town. There was even a stage for performing.
Florian went to the nearby gym to register for his gym test: hype the crowd with double battles.
The crowd roared and cheered for Florian as battle each of the trainers(even if Florian was having a hard time with double battles).
Eventually the stage lights dimmed and when they came back on, The MC of RIP, Ryme was one the stage.
Ryme: Thanks for hyping up the crowd for me.
The concert was amazing(Florian doesn't think much about music so his opinion doesn't matter).
After the concert, Florian got the stage for his gym battle against Ryme.
Ryme: Alright, time for a battle encore, baby!
A/N Play the music
Ryme sent out Banette and Mimikyu while Florian sent out Crispax-Fraxure and Jimith-Orthworm
Jimith laid spikes over the arena and Crispax unleashed a pulse of draconic energy powerful enough to faint the Banette. Mimikyu set up light screen and played rough with Crispax so badly that he fainted. Jimith got revenge by bashing his iron head repeatedly into Mimikyu until it fainted.
Ryme sent out Houndstone and Toxtricity, who Ryme Terastalized into a Ghost-type while Florian sent out CippyCoppy-Ditto, who he Terastalized into a Normal type.
CippyCoppy tried to transform into Houndstone but it disappeared and back attacked Jimith before CippyCoppy could. Toxtricity lobbed a shadow ball at Jimith.
Jimith fainted
Florian sent out Fluffkins-Pawmo and switched CippyCoppy-Ditto for Pinch-Crabrawler
Fluffkins's electricity fried Houndstone but a Shadow ball from Toxtricity fainted her.
Florian sent out CippyCoppy.
Toxtricity unleashed a discharge of electricity so Pinch payed them back with payback! Toxtricity fainted
A/N Stop the music
Ryme: Alright you did well so here's your badge.
Florian left the gym with a badge and casualties.
Pinch:....The summit
Florian:?
Pinch grabbed Florian by the hand and dragged him all the way to the top of Glaseado Mountain.
Florian: Why are we here?
Pinch: I wanted to come up here to use this.
Pinch whipped out a Ice stone.
Florian: Why do you have that?
Pinch: I wanted to wait until we got here to evolve!
Pinch ate the stone and became a Crabominable.
Pinch smiled with pride.
