Current team: Pepper-Skeledirge, Pinch-Crabominable, Odysseus-Foongus, Vix-Wyrdeer, Cathy-Bombirder

Florian: Pinch, you've been looking down on the world for the last hour we need to get going down the mountain.

Pinch:😌 Alright.

Pinch crawled over to Florian and stepped on a candle...? A Greavard rose up from the snow. Florian caught  the Greavard. There was a collar nearby that had the name Spooky doo written on the name tag.

Florian:(Might as well use that name)

Spooky doo-Greavard joined the group.

The group made their way all the way back to the south province to find the 7th gym. They found a path that led up into a large cave.

The cave was large and full of other trainers for battling. Odysseus and Spooky doo evolved into Amoonguss and Houndstone.

As they continued upwards, Florian paused.

Odysseus: Are you okay?

Florian stared in the direction of a Glimmet.

Florian walked up to it and gently caressed its petals.

The Glimmet had an air of ease so Florian (with great gentleness) caught the Glimmet.

Pepper: Are you going to be nice to us now?😃

Florian: No, Terra was different.

Pinch: You already named them?

Florian: No, She already named herself.

The group finally got out of the cave and onto a plateau with a nearby town.

Vix: She's staring at us.

A Gothorita was staring at the group from afar. Florian caught the Gothorita.

The town was Alfornada, a town with beautiful pottery and plates. Florian registered at the gym.

Florian: So what do I have to?

Receptionist: You must partake in ESP session.

Florian:...What?

Florian took one an ESP session in progress and made a decision.

Florian: (I'm quitting the gyms)

Nemona: Buenas Florian!

Florian: Nemona, there's something I have to tell you.

Nemona: That can wait, cause it's time for a battle!

Florian:...Fine, it'll put you better mood anyway.

One battle later.

Nemona: Now what did you want to ask me?

Florian: I'm quitting the gym challenge.

Nemona had a look of shock at first, then she had a look of sadness and left for the observatory.

Pepper: You should go comfort her.

Florian: No

Pepper took a deep breath and let loose an ear piercing scream!

Florian: Ugh FINE! I'LL TALK TO HER!

Florian begrudgingly went to comfort Nemona.

Florian: Stop being sad.

Nemona:.......Do you have a hobby?

Florian:.Not really

Nemona: Battling is my hobby, everyone thinks that because I'm rich and a champion-rank trainer that I'm perfect and invincible. No one wanted to battle me anymore....but then you showed up and didn't care about any of that. Plus you've got the potential, was Tulip too difficult for you?

Florian: No I didn't face the gym leader, I refuse to do that ESP session.

Nemona:....That's why you're quitting?

Florian: I have self respect.

Nemona: Just smile and deal with it😡. I'll even do it with you.

Nemona pushed Florian back to the gym and registered him for the ESP session.

Nemona constantly cheered for Florian while he did the exercises.
In Florian's mind, this was the most embarrassing thing he's ever done. He actually started to want to go back to back to how he used to live...but he passed the session.

Florian stood at the battlefield waiting for the gym leader. A woman flanked by two Medicham walked up the battlefield

Tulip: I saw your ESP session...it could use a little refinement but otherwise I think this battle will be interesting.

A/N Play the music

Tulip sent out Farigaraf while Florian sent out Cathy-Bombirder

Cathy didn't have to do much to faint Farigaraf, many bites and it went down easy.

Florian sent out Odysseus-Amoonguss while Tulip sent out Gardevoir.

Odysseus poisoned Gardevoir but she responded with a Psychic attack. Odysseus survived and was switched out for Spooky doo-Houndstone. Spooky doo was eradicated by Gardevoir's Dazzling gleam before he could even attack.

Spooky doo fainted.

Florian sent out Vix-Wyrdeer

Vix stomped repeatedly on Gardevoir until she fainted.

Tulip sent out Espathra while Florian sent out Pepper-Skeledirge.

Pepper fired a Shadow ball to instafaint Espathra.

Tulip sent out Florges.

Tulip Terastalized Florges into a Psychic-Type while Florian Terastalized Pepper-Skeledirge into a Fire-type.

Florges unleashed Psychic waves that couldn't do much damage. Pepper sung a Firey song so hot that it fainted the Florges.

Nemona: See, that wasn't so bad now, wasn't it?

Florian: I am not in the mood for talking.

Florian went to nearby lake with a broken tower to clear his mind. A chest fell into a from some loose bricks and landed near Florian.

Florian: ?

The chest was holding a Sleeping Gimmighoul.

Florian: (Might as well keep it)

Florian caught the Gimmighoul.
