Rika: According to your files, You have gotten all right gym badges so you have the skill...but that is not the only thing a champion needs. This interview will test if you deserve the title.

Florian genuinely passed the interview and got into the room behind the desk. It had a battlefield ready and Rika stood at the other side.

Rika: The elite test will see if you're on equal footing with La Primera. And I'm the first you'll face.

Rika sent out Whishcash while Florian sent out Dreeps-Drakloak

Dreeps disappeared and struck from behind.

Rika sent out Donphan while Florian sent out The cold one-Cetitan

The cold one endured a bunch edgy stones and retaliating by spinning in ice and slamming against Donphan

Donphan fainted

Rika sent out Dugtrio while Florian sent out Rusiea-Lycanroc

Rusiea fangs dripped with psychic energy and was about to attack but she was interrupted by a sucker punch to the muzzle. Rusiea attacked with psychic fangs.

Dugtrio fainted

Rika sent out Clodsire, who she Terastalized into a Ground-type, while Florian sent out Dreeps-Drakloak, who he Terastalized into a Ghost-type

Dreeps tried to attack from behind with ghostly energy but it barley did anything. Clodsire attached with a earthquake.

Dreeps fainted.

Florian sent out Tatata-Tatsugiri

Tatata first attacked with muddy water but Clodsire absorbed the water and poisoned Tatata.

Tatata retaliated with Pulses of draconic energy.

Clodsire fainted

Poppy: Hi mister! Let's battle now!

Poppy sent out Copperajah while Florian sent out Primefist-Annihilape

Primefist used her brick breaking fists to attack Copperajah.

Florian sent out Pepper-Skeledirge while Poppy sent out Corviknight

Pepper's Torch song burned through Corviknight and his voice grew louder and stronger. Pepper easily swept the rest of Poppy's team with his firey beats.

Poppy: Wow! No one except Nemona beat me so fast. MISTER LARRY! IT'S YOUR TURN!!!

To Florian's suprise, Larry, one of eight gym leaders, emerged from the door.
