Ch.3 – The Attack

In a building in the Mcchord AFB, a bunch of officers grouped up and looked at General Quila. The lights were dim as the general looked forward to some officers. In the room, there were many kinds of people. Some were aliens from Unrialo while some were humans, from both NATO and EACT.

"We have a massive opportunity today, men. Look here." Gen. Quila said, putting a stick on a map. "The APL leader in this region, Samal Kasmas, is in his special hideout right dead in the middle of Bellevue." Gen. Quila pointed at a red circle. "He is somewhere in those big buildings, and from our intel, we think the APL will bomb the bridges in Lake Washington as a terrorist attack." The general tapped on the 2 bridges. "This cannot happen."

"Sir." An American Lieutenant raised his hand. "If we attack, this would be a violation of the treaties! We can't send in an army outside of the treaty territory!"

"We are only sending you guys to deal with this. Wait until I finish for questions." Gen. Quila said, brushing his white beard.

"Now, let me explain more. Second platoon of Spearhead-Ghost will strike on the ground, deploying by a civilian truck. They will first scout and use snipers and their tactics to bust into these sets of buildings." The General got a brown pen and drew a circle around 7 buildings.

"Mmm, good, good." Maj. Ilmorapi nodded.

"Lieutenant Wu's fifth platoon of mechanized infantry will drive on I-405 and deploy troops by the AO, and they will distract APL insurgents in an attack from the north." The General got a red pen and drew on the highway and toward the Area of Operations.

"Hao De. Ok." Lt. Wu inhaled smoke from a cigar.

"Sergeant Farhad will join with Spearhead-Ghost and with his spotter, snipe out opponents at this location." The General put a mark on a building.

"Uh huh." Sgt. Farhad touched his sniper rifle on his back.

"The C platoon of the First SFG will assault these buildings right here. They will attack by helicopters." The General circled the rest of the buildings.

"Gotcha." Capt. Moore said.

"While that happens, Sergeant Samaso will provide you with drone coverage from an IV-10."

"Got you." Sgt. Samaso said slowly, swirling his tail and crossing his 2 scaled arms.

"From Mcchord, Sergeant Inonnia will provide artillery support. However, only use smoke shots, and only use real shells on my order."

"Yes, sir." Sgt. Inonnia said, adjusting his bright green uniform.

"Ok, SC-334, you and your platoon will infiltrate the enemy in boxes that will be deployed before the fight."

"At your command," SC-334 said in its monotonic voice, putting its robotic arm up to a salute to its small main camera.

"We will start at 1830."

"So... the treaty?" The American Lieutenant asked.

"I will contact the president about it. It will be something between me and him. Questions? No? Ok, prepare, and follow the rules of war."

A couple of hours later, General Quila pressed his earpiece as he waited in his operations room with a couple of radio operators. By now, the troops should be in position, and should be ready to attack.

"All units, report status." The General said to his radio, looking his map.

"Bell company reporting." Maj. Ilmorapi said. "We have visual on enemies."
