Dana had been living with Raoul for three days. On the fourth day, some important guests were coming over for dinner. When the women asked if Dana had something fancy to wear, she showed them her spare short dress; a blue one with short sleeves.
"That's it?" Yuki asked. "What about shoes? Jewelry? Hair accessories?"
In answer, Dana just showed them her mother's blue butterfly hair clip and replied; "Fairies don't wear shoes. It interferes with our connection to nature."
"This won't do!" Alma said, hands on her hips. "I've been to Elfame once in the very distant past, and no fairy ever passes up the chance to deck themselves out in their best outfits for anything!"
"I was never invited to those 'anythings'. Especially not after I got my title," Dana told her.
"Well, this isn't Elfame and we're not those stuck-up fairies," Korra replied. "And these guests have heard about you, so they have high expectations."
"In other words, we're going shopping!" Jamaya exclaimed.
At the grins of all the women, Dana sweat-dropped nervously. Before she could get away, they surrounded her and practically dragged her to the shops.
The first shop they went to was a formal dress shop.
"Green and blue really are your best colors, Dana!" Alma expressed as she held two dresses of either color up to her.
"I think she looks best in these dark colors," Korra said, holding up another dress.
