Taylor and Travis are enjoying a few days' break from her tour in Lake Como, Italy. Travis had organized this trip since Taylor's birthday last year when he felt bad about not being able to spend the day with her. Otherwise, Taylor had a party with her friends. This trip is one of his birthday gifts for her.
One of the villa's staff members comes into the kitchen and places two big bags on the counter.
"Miss Swift, here is your requested grocery," she says.
"Oh, Mandy, thank you so much. And again, call me Taylor," Taylor says with a smile.
Taylor approaches the bags and lays out all the products. Her plan is have some home-cooked meals with Travis since she has always loved cooking. Once she reaches the bottom of the bag, she sees a box of homemade ice cream from the local store.
"Mandy, I didn't list the ice cream in the order," Taylor remarks.
"Oh, Mr. Kelce asked me to add it. He said just in case you might want to have some," Mandy explains.
Taylor smiles to herself; her man is always thoughtful like that.
"Do you need me to help with anything?" Mandy asks Taylor, feeling a bit awkward since Taylor insisted on doing things on her own.
"No, it's all good. Have some time for yourself," Taylor replies.
As Mandy leaves, Travis enters from the living room. He wraps his arms around Taylor from behind and pulls her closer to himself.
"I planned this trip for you to have relaxation time, not to do extra work, sweetie," he whispers in her ear.
"This is not extra work, Trav. I just love cooking," she answers while still washing the veggies.
"You can leave this to them, you know. I don't want you to tire yourself," Travis says, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"You know I love to cook, especially for you. And I don't feel tired; I just love taking care of you," Taylor smiles, looking back at Travis.
"Okay, I'm not going to debate on this. Because I love your food too. So, how can I help?"
Both of them cook together, with Taylor mostly handling the main tasks while Travis helps her around, still learning how to cook simple dishes.
"Did you finish setting up the recording area?" Taylor asks as they start eating.
"Yeah, I did. The guys, the bodyguard team, helped out a bit with the lighting. I hope it's not too dark," Travis answers with a smile.
"I'm sorry because of me you have to move the recording out from the studio room," Taylor says, looking down at her dish.
"Hey, hey, this is not your fault," Travis reassures her, placing his chair closer next to Taylor and putting his hand on her back. "All of this is what I want. I don't mind moving around with you. And as you know, a podcast isn't about the picture; it's about the sound. Many people listen to podcasts without visual. I've got my mic and the headphones with me; that's enough."
"But the video quality won't be as good as normal, and people might not like it," Taylor continues, stirring her spoon around in the bowl.
"Hey, look at me," Travis says, gently lifting her chin to meet his gaze. "The essence of the show is good content and sound. The visual or a picture of me with it is just something extra. I don't think they care about that much. And even if they do, I don't give a f*ck about that. Don't worry, okay, sweetie?" He strokes her hair gently.
