The sun hangs lazily in the sky, casting a warm glow over the Kelce backyard. Travis tosses the football with his kids. Robin, six years old and already showing signs of his dad's athleticism, catches every pass with ease. Willow, four years old, runs around with another football in her hand. She's still learning but makes up for it with boundless energy and determination.
"Catch, Robin!" Travis calls as his son runs in wobbly zigzags.
Robin leaps forward, arms outstretched, but the football bounces off his hands and rolls into the grass. He flops down dramatically. "I almost had it!"
"Nice try, buddy!" Travis cheers.
"Almost doesn't score touchdowns, Daddy," Robin rolls his eyes, running into Travis's arms.
"It's still a good effort, champ! We'll work on the aim later." Travis scoops him up.Robin grins, determination shining in his eyes. He hops down, grabs the ball, and prepares for another attempt when the back door opens. Taylor steps out, carrying a tray loaded with homemade ice pops, bottles of water, and a bowl of fresh fruit.
"All right, MVPs, time for a snack break!" she calls, her voice melodic as always.
The kids drop everything and sprint toward her. Robin runs much faster, while Travis holds Willow in his arms and walks over to the porch.
"Ice pops!" Robin exclaims, grabbing a red one first. Taylor made it out of watermelon and lemon juice.
"You're a lifesaver," Travis says, taking a water bottle and giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. This squeezes Willow between them, making her giggle.
Taylor smiles. "Gotta keep my MVPs hydrated."
"You're the real MVP here," Travis says as he walks over to the swing and sits with Willow. Taylor follows, holding Robin's hand as he focuses on his ice pop.
Taylor smirks. "Don't you forget it."
They all sit on the swing, enjoying their treats. Taylor wipes Robin's mouth while Travis shares his ice pop with Willow. Occasionally, he feeds Taylor slices of fruit from the bowl.
Robin looks up at Taylor with big, curious eyes. "Mom, can you tell us the story about how you and Dad met? Pleeeease?"
Taylor glances at Travis, her cheeks tinting pink. "Oh, that story again?"
"Yes!" Willow chimes in.
"We love that story! Dad says it's like a fairy tale!" Robin wipes his hands with a napkin, ready to listen.
Travis chuckles, leaning back on his hands. "Go on, Tay. Tell them."
Taylor laughs, glancing at Travis. "You sure you're ready for this, babe?"
"Absolutely," he says with a grin. "I'll jump in if you leave anything out."
Taylor sighs dramatically, though her eyes sparkle. "All right, all right. Once upon a time, there was a big, strong football player named Travis Kelce—"
"Dad!" Robin interrupts, giggling.
"Yes, your dad," Taylor confirms, laughing. "And there was a singer who loved to write songs and tell stories. That's me."
Travis interjects, "But she was way out of my league."
Taylor rolls her eyes playfully. "Anyway, one day, your dad decided he was going to shoot his shot. He went to one of my concerts and tried to give me his phone number on a friendship bracelet."
Willow gasps. "No way! Did you take it?"
Taylor shakes her head. "Not right away. I didn't even know about it until later. But your dad didn't give up. He was so funny, kind, and confident, and he had this way of making everyone around him feel special."
