Travis had just returned from his night at the hotel with the team. He pulled his car up to the sidewalk of his old house, seeing Taylor's car still parked outside. Today, she would meet his parents for the first time. Lately, Taylor and Travis had been living together in their new house. Travis kept his old house for his parents to stay when they visited to watch his games. Today, as usual, he had invited his and his parents' friends over before the game. Taylor decided to join his dad and Ed's friends at the old house to watch the game while the rest went to the stadium.

Travis could feel Taylor's nervousness as she still sat in the back of her car, hadn't went out yet. He turned off his car, approached her, and knocked on her door. Taylor opened it for him.

"Hey baby, love to see you here." He hugged her tightly as she remained in the car, giving her a light kiss on the lips.

"Nervous?" he asked, stroking her cheeks lightly. Taylor nodded shyly, looking down at their entwined hands.

"It will be fine, don't worry. Everybody will love you."

"They will?" Taylor mumbled.

"Of course, for sure. Baby, let's go inside." He offered his hand to reassure her and led her out of the car.

"Wait," she turned back, grabbed a tray of freshly baked cinnamon rolls next to her seat.

"Honey," Travis gave her a soft look, squeezing her hand, "you didn't have to bring anything, you know that?"

"I can't just come in with bare hands," Taylor nervously replied.

For Taylor, it was her first time meeting Travis's parents in person, though they had seen each other on FaceTime before. Travis led the way and took Taylor inside the house.

"Hey guys, I'm home," Travis announced loudly, catching everyone's attention. "And I've brought someone with me."

People turned to look at the couple, some showing surprise, others smiling widely.

"Hi everyone, I'm Taylor," Taylor introduced herself. Donna was the first to come closer and hug Taylor.

"Oh Taylor, finally get to meet you in person, honey," Donna said, patting her back.

"Nice to meet you too," Taylor replied, hugging back with one arm while Travis took the tray from her to make hugging Donna easier. They moved to the living room and greeted everyone. Travis overheard Ed whispering to his girlfriend.

"Do you know her? I think I saw her somewhere before, but I can't remember."

"Oh Ed, that's Taylor Swift, the most amazing famous singer right now," Donna informed him, Ed nodding with an impressed expression. Travis grinned at his dad.

Travis had told his mom more about Taylor, but not so much to his dad. Ed knew Travis was dating someone named Taylor but didn't know the details of their story.

"Taylor, the rolls are amazing," Ed complimented after taking a big bite.

"Thank you, Ed. I'm glad everyone loves them," Taylor said, looking at the empty tray on the coffee table.

"You guys have to try her food too," Travis joined in, sitting next to her on the sofa, his arm around her shoulder. "It was magnificent." He placed a light kiss on her cheek.

"Trav, your parents are here," Taylor said shyly, nudging his arm, which made him chuckle.

"It's okay, they don't mind," Travis reassured her, giving her an extra quick kiss on the lips. Taylor glanced at his parents, who pretended not to see anything, and giggled at their antics.
