Does anyone know what it's like to want something that is being handed to you, but you are being held back by the restraint of another?

Does anyone know what it's like to lie awake at 3am in tears because you have the words that they said branded into your brain?

Does anyone know what it's like to sit there and question why all of it happened to you? Why you've spent your whole life being told that good actions result in good reward only to find that too was a lie?

Does anyone know what it's like to be disliked by their own parent because of some illogical fantasy that came about from a lie?

Does anyone know what it's like to have been accused of a wrong that you yourself did not do?

Does anyone know what it's like to be questioned and want to tell the honest answer, but instead you lie because you want to protect them from the pain that you've been hiding since the beginning?

Does anyone know what it's like to like awake at 3am remember when you weren't lying awake at 3am, blaming yourself for things that someone else conjured up and that you are now believing?
