If a kid is sitting in the back of a classroom,
And they crack, smash and burn,
Does the class take notice?

Do they notice when they start
    becoming late to class?
Do they notice when he stops
    participating in class?

Does the teacher notice when his
    grade drops?
Does the teacher notice when the
    work is half done?
What about when that student
comes in with red and puffy
    eyes? Tears running down their
    cheek.

What happens when that students
    doesn't show up to class?
When the student misses one day?
Then two? And then three and
    four.

There's no way to know.
When the world caves in on
    someone without notice,
How do you help them?
How do you comfort them?
How do you walk up to them and lie
to their face by saying "it'll be
    okay"?

How does a student break?
How does a student reach the
point of not only creeping to the
    edge, but collapsing off the
    edge?
Who pushes them? Who is the
    once that causes such pain?

Teachers.
