Just when he was about to give up, Alexander received a tip from an unexpected source. A neighbor had seen Sophia walking in the park near their house, her face filled with sadness. With renewed determination, Alexander rushed to the park, his heart racing with anticipation.
Sure enough, he found Sophia sitting on a bench, staring out at the sunset. Relief flooded through him as he approached her, his steps quickening with each passing moment. "Sophia!" he called out, his voice breaking with emotion.
Sophia turned to him, confusion evident in her eyes. "Do I know you?" she asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.
Alexander's heart sank at her words, but he refused to give up. "It's me, Alexander," he said, reaching out to touch her arm. "We're married. We love each other."
Sophia pulled away, fear flashing in her eyes. "I don't know what you're talking about. Please leave me alone."
