~Michelle's POV~

When I woke up, Kayla's chest was the first thing I saw. At first, I was confused, then I slowly, to not wake her up (if she was even sleeping), pulled away. The minute I got far enough I felt her hand press against the back of my head and shove me right into her breasts, feeling her chest vibrate as she laughed. I pulled away and looked up at her.

“Do you enjoy having me….interact with your chest?” I asked, my voice groggy with sleep

“Obviously, yes, I like you touching me overall" I raised an eyebrow at her making her roll her eyes “I mean my love language is physical affection, you can tell me you love me and I'll understand that but won’t truly feel just how much you love me, until you touch me, like; hold my hand, kiss my nose, run your fingers through my hair, and honestly, I'm not against it, so feel free to straight up grab me by the face and shove your tongue down my throat, I'm the last person to complain”

I couldn't help but chuckle at her candidness, feeling a rush of warmth in my chest at how open and honest she was being with me. Kayla's unfiltered words never failed to surprise me. I reached out to caress her cheek, my thumb tracing gentle circles on her skin. “can you let go now, I need a shower"

“Nope," she says shaking her head

I chuckled at her defiance, admiring the playful glint in her eyes. With a mock exasperated sigh, I leaned in closer, my breath ghosting over her lips. "You know, you're impossible," I teased, feeling the corners of my mouth curling into a smile. Kayla's laughter tinkled like music in the air as she stubbornly held onto me, refusing to let me go.

But as much as I enjoyed our playful banter, the urge to shower beckoned me, reminding me of the day ahead. With one last lingering kiss on her cheek, I mustered all my strength and gently freed myself from Kayla's grasp, earning a pout from her in response.

"I promise to make it up to you later," I promised with a wink before slipping out of bed, relishing the symphony of protest in her groans and whines behind me. “I promise Kay”

After my shower, I got dressed in a random pair of jeans and an equally random t-shirt “A Minecraft fan are you" I glanced at Kayla, then down at the shirt that had the design of a creeper head making me sigh. My uncle (Uncle Vincent) had gotten the shirt for me recently after he came back from his vacation before leaving again almost immediately. His last text to me was that he’d be back in at least two weeks.

“You alright?” I jumped as I felt Kayla’s arms wrap around my waist. I’m not sure if I was just spaced out or it was her Vampiric speed, but it seems like she was off the bed and in front of me in milliseconds.

I blinked, momentarily disoriented by Kayla's sudden appearance in front of me. Her eyes bore into mine, searching for any hint of what was going on in my mind.

"Yeah, just thinking about Uncle Vincent and his interesting taste in gifts," I replied, shrugging

“Uncle?” She asked

“Yeah, he’s just not here very often since I became Alpha, says he wants to live his last years to the fullest” I explained shrugging.

Kayla's expression softened as she listened, her fingers gently tracing circles on my back. "Must be tough, being Alpha and all," she murmured.

I leaned into her touch, finding comfort in her presence. "It has its challenges, but having you by my side makes it easier," I confessed, a small smile playing on my lips.

Kayla's eyes sparkled with affection as she gazed at me. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what.”

“Thank you" I leaned forward and kissed his nose, “now I have a meeting to get to in two hours and there’s some stuff I need to do for it, so I'll need to go”
