Life changes , people change,everything change
even me, i changed a lot and i don't know if others see it as a bad thing, but i personally think it is good.
it has been 4 years since the scene which happened to me and made me a new tough person.
Its sophomore year in college and i am studying Pharmacy in Oxford , interesting ha ?
As any typical student who left home to study, i stay at the dorms and they are not THAT bad and i sometimes visit mom and sister in Bradford only on weekends and vacations, Nevertheless, it depends on my exams.
my roommate, Lean Parker who studies Chemical engineering, she has black hair, blue eyes and she is medium, not so tall, not so short
In Oxford i play at the ladies soccer team and i am the captain, YAY.
Wednesday night, I am sitting on my laptop writing a report for Biology , writing reports isn't that bad, especially when i turn on smooth music like Ed Sheeran's music !
tho i dont know much new songs cause studying is taking most of my time and i only search for new music on my free time.
" cause right now, i wish you were here with me.." the lyrics from Lean's iPod started to play and it pisses me off. i have never heard this song before but i don't feel like listening to new music.
"Lean, can you please just use headphones or turn it off.?" i said without looking away from my laptop.
"No." she simply replied.
"at least turn the volume down!" i said, my bed facing her bed.
"why? don't you like One Direction's music?" she asked as she finally turned the volume down.
"who?!" i wondered
"One Direction? Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, N-" "yeaaah yeah whatever you are saying im really not interested in those guys."
After a while i finished writing the report feeling sleepy and tired, i checked the time and it was 9;16pm , too early to sleep, so, i called Chace
"Hello" the raspy voice answered
"hi Chace, how u doin'?" i said and i noticed Lean from the corner of my eye looking at me
"im good and how about you ?."
"I'm good as well, feeling sleepy as fuck so I just decided to call you and annoy the shit out of you" I smiled
"What? Sleepy? Maria are you serious? You can't be , it's damn 9:16!!" He exclaimed
"Anyway what are you doing? " I places the laptop on the nightstand and stretched my legs, welcoming the comfortable feeling
"Nothing much, I was just playing video games with Patric, PES in particular." He said
"How is he?"
"Who?" Chase sounded genuinely confused, I sigh.
"Santa clause!! Who the hell are we talking about Chace!" I exclaimed and I swear that lean heard his laughter because she laughed and took a glance at me
"Oops it Maria why you're so mean to me ?" He said half talking half laughing
"Ohh emm gee! You still remember the oops it thing!!"
"of course I do"he chuckled
The 'oops it ' thing is about our childhood
*flashback starts*
I grabbed the ball off the ground and throw it at Abbie, when she caught it, she pass it to Chace who took it and started running
We were in the soccer court playing soccer and just being kids
"Over here!!" I yelled as I waved for Chace who passes the ball to me
I got it and raised my foot as high as I can and shot the ball , it flew and fell on the lake
"Noo!! My ball!! Damn it Maria !!" Chace yelled at me and i tensed up
"I-I...- CHACE!!" Chace's brother yelled at him and he turned to him
"Don't you ever say that word!"
Chace blinked confused "which word? Damn it ?"
He yelled" dONT SAY IT!!"
"Oops it fine !!"
*end of flashback*
"Anyway Maria, wanna watch a movie" Chace suggested
"Hmm fine, sounds like a plan I'll see you in 10. You come "
"Okay.... U know? Forget it, Santa wants to come with me " he sighed
"That's fine bring him , lean would like to watch the movie with us "I looked over at lean and she looked at me confused
"Okay, bye." He hung up and I looked at Lean "listen, Patric and Chace are coming over to watch a movie with us."
We decided that they will bring the food and snacks and we will choose the movie.
I looked over the movies I have and I noticed that most of them are Disney, but being the great person I am, I ain't letting my friends watch Disney if they don't like it, so, I picked up GET AWAY for Selena Gomez and Ethan Hawke.
Minutes later we heard knocks on the door , I moved to the door and opened it
"FREEZ! YOU ARE UNDER REST!" I watched clumsy Chace attacking our room as a police officer
"No no please I'm innocent" I decided to be clumsy as well.
"okay come here " he laughed as he embraced me in a big bear hug which I gladly returned
I smiled at the way he smell. He smell like home
I shared the "hello's" and "how are you's" with Patric and before i know it, we were all seated in our places.
Lean and Patric on the bed, Chace and I underneath them on the floor , our backs pressed to The bed
The movie started and we started eating and watching
And because the movie is action, I easily remembered the past three years, every small part of it
* flashback starts*
"No, please don't do this, please.. NOO!" I screamed as I felt the glowing burn touch my ankle, my ankle is beating and his smug laugh ringing in my ear, I bit my tongue not to sob loudly
He leaned closer that I can feel his breath and he whispered "it's just the beginning,sugar "
*flashback ends*
I noticed chace's hand on top of mine which rested on my thigh, he gave it a slight squeeze and I knew he was watching me, I looked at him and wore a small smile and nod at him, informing him that I am alright
I have moved on, I have.
Cause past is past and I won't never come back ever again.
