Chapter 19

I lied in my bed in the dark staring at the ceiling, my hair flowing on the pillow and I feel the coldness of the pillow on my neck.

I kept staring at the ceiling recalling what Chace said, what Chace did, it's so weird, so awkward. What am I going to say or do when I see him?

I didn't kiss back of course because it is stupid. He can't kiss me just like that, it is stupid, we are friends, siblings more like, but the question is why did he do that?!

People can be angry sometimes with their bestfriends but they don't kiss them.

Friends with benefits do

"But we're not friends with benefits." I confess loudly to the negative sound on my head

I woke up to the buzz of my phone under my pillow, I let out a sigh and pull it out from beneath my head looking at the phone to find a new text message from Niall

From Niall:
'Good morning Maria:) I was thinking that maybe you would love to go out with me to have breakfast? Please reply as fast as you can:) '

I sit up and rub my face letting out a sigh, I can't say no because I promised him to give him a chance, I can't back off now.

To Niall:
'Good morning Niall:) I would love to have breakfast with you of course, send me details."

I pressed send and minutes later I received the details about the restaurant and the time and meh, the time is now.

I decided to take the opportunity and forget about what happened last night by enjoying my time with Niall, when I got out of my house I found Niall with his Range Rover outside my house waiting for me to come out,he was leaning to the car wearing white shirt and blue jeans and his hair combed to the back,with those Ray-Ban sunglasses on his eyes he look very attractive I felt my heart skipping a beat, but of course, my pride prevented me from making any kind of a reaction to the human piece of cake in front of me.

"Hello." I offered a small smile and he stood straight and smiled back checking my outfit.

"Hi gorgeous, how are you?" Smiling cheekily at me my heart skipped a beat once more.

Now you think I'm gorgeous ha!
Seems like someone still have crush on their ex-crush!!

I ignored the voice in my head and nodded at him "I'm good and you?"

"I'm very good, shall we go?" Smile and opened the door for me.

I nodded my head once more and hopped in the car buckling my seatbelt ,he jumped in the car beside me and started to drive

I kept silent not knowing what to say and because I know if I said anything it will be super awkward.

"Nice car."

"Thank you! I've got it long while ago but Jesus, I still love it!" He chuckled and I smiled watching the road because I don't want my heart to skip another beat

"That's lovely." I said my voice full of fake enthusiasm

Couple of minutes later he parked the car in front of a restaurant and I got down of the car taking deep breath, today was sunny and the weather was nice, I saw on the distance some camera men flashing pictures of me and Niall, I kept staring trying to tell the man I saw you bitch but he looked me in the eyes and the smirk started to creep on his face and he raised the camera to his eyes and I turned around and walked in the restaurant with Niall.
