Maria's POV.

I woke up the next morning and look through the window to find everything is white.
I look over at Lean's bed and she was there wearing headphones and staring at the screen of her phone, just staring and she doesn't look amused with what she is watching.

I check my phone and there was a missed call from Ian, and 1 message  from Chace. Why would Ian call me? Or how the hell he got my phone number?
How you know it's Ian? Well, that's what trucaller is for.
I opened the message
Chace: hello! When you see this call me or reply to my message.
I took a deep breath and text him
Me: hey Chace:) I just woke up I was so exhausted.
Chace: good morning , hope you're okay, I will meet you at the cafeteria, don't be late!
Me: Okay! Meet you in 15 minutes.

I get up from my bed and eye Lean to see her still looking at her phone, I open my mouth to talk then i remember, we do not talk.

After getting out of the bathroom I had chosen the outfit for today. Blue jeans. Dark red warm sweater. Black jacket and of course my black long boots. I put a beanie on my head to keep my ears warm and my hair was loose, down on my shoulders

So Plain.
I grabbed my bag and turned the knob took out
"Don't go! Wait* Lean says and I turn my head to her confused
"Don't go, look" she got off her bed while removing the headphones from her ears" I know you are innocent and it was all a made up story, but you have to see this." She motioned to her phone and gulp.
I let go of the knob and walked toward her"what's there?"
She put the phone in front of my face and I saw two men talking and it is obvious that they doesn't know they were recorded.

"So?" I look over at her and she put the
headphones on my ears and started the video, I turned up the voice in the high level and watched Patric and another guy talking.

"You have to get her out of the university." The boy said.
"How am I supposed to do that!" Patric replied annoyed and angry

What, is going on ? Why am I watching this?
"I don't know"
"Why are we doing that ? I mean yeah, Maria is a bitch but stubborn one, I have no idea how to do that "

I flinch at the voice of my name slipping out if Patric's mouth.
"Look! She is the reason why my brother is in jail! I am not letting this go. You did great job with the picture but you have to do more than that "

"But I-"
"Think about it," he stepped closer and placed his hand in Patric's shoulder "when Maria was on the football team, everybody was talking about her , it's your time to shine and destroy her ego, and destroy the ladies team and finally have the spotlight for yourself."

Patric smirk and look at the guy and nod his head.
"What do you want me to do to her . Ian ?"
My eyes popped out of my skull, IAN??? What the fuck.
"Make her pregnant."
I parted my lips in complete shock.
"Then kill her, after that, 1million and Spotlight are all yours."
"Deal."  Patric shook Ian's hand with that dirty fucking nasty smirk on his lips.

I look at Lean who is chewing her lip , I close my mouth and blink trying to regain my normal feature.
"Where you got this from??"
"I recorded them yesterday in the bathroom."
"What?!"
"Long story, but don't go out, at least not alone."
