Two weeks later
Mayas pov

I roll over in bed when the alarm goes off. We have a building tour, but Carina doesn't know I already signed for it. It has everything she could ever want, and there are multiple investors ready to help her start her clinic.

I brush the hair out of carinas face, placing a kiss on her forehead. She groans and rolls over, "Bambina it's too early" she says, burying her face in my chest. "I know, but I have a good feeling about this place." I reply, smiling.

"You're up to something." She says, sitting up and looking at me. "Hm?" I say, smiling at her. She heads to the bathroom to brush her teeth. "My ears don't hurt today, which I think is a really good sign." She says, tying her hair back.

Her hearing has mostly come back, some I don't think will ever return. She's been in pain while the stitches dissolve, which is terrible. I head to the closet, getting one of her suits out and laying it on the bed. I my work uniform and put it on. I have to go after the tour, which sucks.

She comes out of the bathroom and immediately has her hands on me. "Carina" I say, my head dipping back. "You know what this uniform does to me" she says, her hands grabbing my ass. "We don't have time, I already let you sleep in ." I say, smiling.

She places a kiss on my lips, before pulling away. She puts her suit on then fixes her hair. I see her getting frustrated with her hair. "You look perfect babe." I say, putting some makeup on. "I really want this to work. I.. I'm nervous." She says.

I pull her hair behind her back and fix it gently. "There. No need to be nervous, they'd be a fool to turn you down." I say, kissing her shoulder.

I head downstairs and make her coffee. "Ready?" I yell up the stairs, noticing we have to leave soon. "Sí, coming." She replies. I hand her the coffee I made, along with her keys. I offered to drive but she loves her car too much.

We park in the lot out front and Carina takes a deep breath. "It'll be okay babe, I promise." I say, taking her hand. I want to tell her, but I know the surprise will be even better.

She holds my hand the entire way to the door, only letting it go to shake the building managers hand. I watch as Carina is in awe of the building, every room built just how she wants it.

"Would you like to head upstairs to the offices?" The man says. Carina agrees and we head upstairs. I'm getting nervous, mostly because I decorated her office.

I took whatever could be saved from her old office and put it in the new one, and I bought whatever else she needed. It's at the end of the hall. The last office.

"Bambina these are so nice" she says, running her hands on the desk of another office. "Mhm." I respond. "What? You don't like it? Is it bad?" She asks,  looking up at me.

"No i.. it's nothing I just.." I say, looking around for the building manager. I asked him to leave after this office so I could tell her by myself. Looks like he remembered.

"Maya you're scaring me." She says, raising her eyebrows. "Follow me" I say, reaching my hand out. I walk her down the hall, to the office with her name on the front.

"Maya what is going on?" She says, gripping my hand tight. I lead her to her door and watch as she reads the name. "Why is my name on the door?" She says, opening it up. She takes one step inside and stops dead in her tracks.

"Maya." She says, looking around. "This is your new office." I say, biting my lip. "What do you mean?" She asks, smiling as she turns to face me.

"I toured the building a couple weeks ago, and I knew it was just what you wanted. I put the deposit down that day, and got all your stuff in here. I'm sorry if you don't like it, I can.." I say but she cuts me off with a kiss.

She pulls away and rests her forehead on mine. "This is my building?" She asks, tears forming in her eyes. "Yes babe, it is. I talked to Addison and I have designers coming tomorrow, and then the suppliers will be here when they're done." I say, wrapping my arms around her.

"Maya this is.. this is the most incredible thing anyone's ever done for me. This is.. Bambina I can't believe it." She says, walking around her new office.

"I'm so excited for you, I know you'll be amazing." I say, smiling. "How did you afford this? This building is expensive, Bambina" she says, looking at the framed pictures from our wedding that I added.

"Don't worry about that, money was not an issue. I knew you needed this place." I say. She wraps her arms around me again, holding me tight. "I love you so much" she says, kissing my head. "I love you too car." I reply.

"I want to stay, but I'm already late for my shift." I say, laughing. "I'll drop you off." She replies, grabbing her keys from her purse. "Thank you, Maya." She says as we walk to her car. "I'd do anything for you, you don't have to thank me." I reply.
