"What of you, Ruelle?" Seth uttered, his tone still stern and his gaze still fixed on the man. "Are you suggesting that you would rather risk the life of Goddess [Name] to protect these women, or are you merely attempting to show off your lacking skills?" Seth's tone was now laced with a hint of sarcasm, his smirk showing that he had little respect for the men's abilities.
Ruelle appeared to be affected by Seth's words, and he lowered his gaze before retreating to a position beside [Name]. "I apologize for my earlier behavior." His voice was full of regret, and it was clear that he felt shame for letting his emotions get the better of him.
"What now?" [Name] queried in a tone of uncertainty, as if seeking guidance on the course of action to take next. Suddenly, Hanakate spoke, her words carrying with them a sense of purpose that permeated the air. "Please, follow me."
The women behind her smiled, a sense of comfort apparent in their expressions as if they understood where they were headed. Seth, Horus, Ruelle, and [Name], on the other hand, looked up at Hanakate with confusion in their eyes, but they were willing to follow her nonetheless.
After walking through the labyrinthine corridors of the temple, they eventually found themselves in a hidden passageway that led to an underground world. It was almost like discovering a long-lost civilization beneath the surface. The tunnel was surrounded by lush greenery, with a small river running alongside it.
"Plants growing underground?" Seth mumbled to himself, his eyes darting around in amazement. Looking over at [Name], who seemed equally as stunned by the unexpected environment, he couldn't help but admire her. "Cute..." He muttered under his breath, a smile pulling at the corner of his lips as he studied her features, a sense of affection evident in his gaze. But his reverie was quickly interrupted by Horus, who noticed the way Seth was looking at [Name] and felt a wave of jealousy wash over him.
The journey through the tunnel felt endless, but finally, they all found themselves at its end. However, a large rock blocked their access to what lay on the other side of the tunnel. They stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do, before [Name] stepped forward and kneeled down beside the river. Her eyes darted towards the water, and she reached out to touch its surface with her hand. "I wonder if this leads to the Nile River..." she muttered, her voice laced with curiosity.
Seth, meanwhile, had taken a closer look at the river and shook his head in amazement. "This is...not normal water," he whispered as he knelt down beside [Name]. The river, which flowed gently past their feet, seemed to glimmer in the moonlight.
Horus, who had been observing the scene quietly, finally spoke up, his voice sounding thoughtful. "This is made from the light of the moon," he explained. Hanakate, who had been standing nearby, her eyes fixed on the moon, spoke up in response. "She is a thoughtful person," she said, eyeing [Name] with respect. "The god of Magic could suddenly disappear one day, but the moon will always be in the sky. That's why she made it with moonlight."
Hanakate walked between the water and tapped her staff on its surface, causing it to emit a bright blue glow. "This is the key to unlocking the true temple of Isis," she spoke, a sense of gravitas present in her tone. "Only those who are deemed worthy by the goddess may proceed past this point."
Seth and Horus exchanged a glance, unsure of what had just happened. "Is it a teleportation spell?" Seth asked Horus, his voice laced with a sense of amazement. "Where are we going?"
Horus shook his head, his gaze focused on Hanakate. "I do not know, either," he replied.
Hanakate, meanwhile, answered Seth's question with a sense of mysticism. "This is a place without men," she began, "a sacred paradise, hidden from the rest of the world." Her voice lowered as if she was imparting a secret to them. "It is a place that both exists and does not exist. This is the true temple of Isis."
Seth, standing in front of the women, was clearly agitated by the situation at hand. "No men, huh?" he muttered under his breath, his voice laced with annoyance, as he watched the women smiling and chatting with one another while holding fabrics and jewelry.
The women looked up at him, their expressions shifting from amusement to surprise as they witnessed the depth of his frustration. Seth continued to stand there, his fists clenched and his eyes fixed on the women as he raised his voice, "Are you telling me to dress like a woman?!" He gestured wildly towards himself, his movements exaggerated and his tone shouting across the room, "I just escaped all those damn adornments!"
The women burst into a fit of laughter at the sight of Seth's outrage, which only seemed to fuel his anger even more. He turned his gaze towards Horus, who remained unfazed by the commotion, and pointed at him angrily, "What about him?! Why doesn't he do it?! Why is it only me?!"
Horus, who was standing nearby, calmly replied, "Because I'm my mother's son."
Seth's expression turned to one of confusion, and he stared blankly at Horus for a moment before turning his attention to Ruelle, who was seated on [Name]'s head while laughing at the absurdity of the situation. "Then what about Ruelle?!" Seth shouted, his voice reverberating through the room.
[Name], who had been standing beside Hanakate, looked up at Seth with a genuine smile, "Oh, Ruelle went back to his dove form moments before we went into the tunnel," she said, gesturing towards the bird perched on her head. Ruelle continued to laugh, his wings fluttering with delight as he enjoyed the spectacle of Seth's frustration.
The group of women, along with Hanakate, continued on their journey to the unknown destination, their focus entirely on the task at hand. Seth and Horus walked behind them, their attention split between the conversation unfolding in front of them and the path ahead.
[Name] and Ruelle were the last to walk, with Ruelle continuing to tease Seth about his appearance, much to Seth's disgust. Seth's frustration seemed to grow with each passing moment, with him glaring at Ruelle and occasionally muttering something under his breath. Horus remained unmoved by the situation, his eyes fixed solely on the journey ahead, seemingly indifferent to the bickering between the two. Ruelle, for his part, seemed to be enjoying the chaos and continued to taunt Seth at every opportunity, his wings fluttering with delight as he found amusement in the situation.
The water, which was initially just ankle-deep, steadily increased in depth, and Seth found himself along with the others wading through the water until it reached his knees. The water did not take long to return to its usual shallowness, but the landscape around them had changed. Seth's eyes moved to [Name], who was looking at Ruelle with concern, and then to Ruelle himself, whose feathery body was a mass of chaos. In an instant, Seth let out a bellow of laughter, unable to contain himself at the absurdity of the sight. The fact that the bird looked like he was traumatized only added to the humor.
