A/N: I'M BACK! MAMA EIREEN IS HERE TO FEED MY BABIES! I almost dropped this story but NO! I'm not leaving! not again. I was about to make a new story but must finish this first. I got hit by a truck and I'm still recovering. LMAO. THE TRUCK AIN'T STOPPING ME FROM MAKING THIS. IT MIGHT HAVE BROKEN MY LEGS BUT IT NEVER BROKE MY WILL TO LIVE AND MY FINGERS TO MAKE THIS.

[Name], still somewhat bewildered by her survival, leaned on something soft, warm, and covered in hair. The comforting sensation of a blanket enveloping her frame accompanied the secure embrace of someone's strong arms.

As she slowly opened her eyes, the figure before her was none other than the foreign god.

"Morning, wifey!" The foreign god cheerfully greeted, his playful tone tinged with a hint of mischief. Yes, she had forgotten for a moment their act of pretending to be husband and wife—such an unusual situation.

"Morning to you as well, my beloved..." [Name] replied

Seth's gaze fixated on the pair before him with a mixture of annoyance and frustration. Despite acknowledging the deception between them, the sight still managed to bother him profoundly. With an exasperated sigh, he stepped forward from the bow of the boat, his hands clenching the luminescent feathers that once belonged to Horus' majestic wings.

"[Name]..." Seth called out gently, concern dripping heavily from his voice. He reached out and pulled her away from the foreign god's embrace, his face swiftly burying itself into the tender flesh of her shoulder.

Shortly, the boat finally docked at an ancient temple shrouded in an air of neglect and abandonment. [Name] surveyed the surroundings, her eyes taking in the ruins of broken buildings and the flood-ridden remnants of Hermapolis. As she attempted to rise, her body was thrown off balance and nearly stumbled into the water.

But in the nick of time, Horus caught her arm, his strong grip preventing her from falling. Right beside him, Seth stood guard, his watchful gaze never leaving her.

"It appears the gods have truly forsaken this place for an extended period..." Ruelle observed as he stepped off the boat, onto the dry land. Despite the abandoned state of the temple, an eerie sense of discomfort hung in the air, yet he could not pinpoint the exact cause.

The foreign god approached with a beaming smile and effortlessly lifted [Name] into a bridal carry, holding her securely in his arms. [Name] was perplexed by the situation, her expression reflecting her bewilderment.

Seth's intense gaze was fixed on the foreign god, a silent anger evident on his face, as he reached out to clasp [Name's] hand firmly.

Horus glanced around the abandoned temple, his voice breaking the silence. "The upkeep has severely been neglected."

Seth concurred with a sigh, adding, "It seems safe to assume the humans have deserted this place, perhaps due to a corrupt leader. Hardly surprising, given the circumstances."

As the boatman nervously addressed the group, he announced, "I will seek a suitable shelter for the night. I shall return soon."

Ruelle's voice held a hint of sarcasm as he spoke, "I have little doubt he will soon flee." Seth nodded in agreement.

With a focused expression, Seth added, "It will be faster if we split up. Typically, the largest temples are constructed in the city center. Given that this is the most prominent structure in the area, we can assume it follows the same pattern." He scanned the group before firmly nodding, "Let's search separately and gather as many supplies as possible."
