Shamar walked into the penthouse suite he shared with Kelsey. She was seated in the dining area, contemplating seven different cake flavors arrayed before her. Her choice would determine the cake flavor for their upcoming baby shower. Kelsey watched as her husband made his way over to her, planting a kiss on her cheek he stole a plate and fork from the table as he sat down.

"You weren't gone long." She said, stuffing her mouth with cake.

"Yeah, well, Paris and Shane were arguing. He kicked us out," Shamar responded with a soft chuckle.

"Really? About what?" Kels asked.

"About their secrets, and apparently, you already know," he replied, taking a bite of his cake and side-eyeing his wife.

Speechless, Kelsey closed her mouth as she glared at him. "Know what?" she asked, finally eating her cake. She attempted to play like she didn't even know what he was talking about.

Shamar gave her a look that made it clear he already knew the truth. She just needed to tell him.

Sighing, Kelsey tossed the plate in her hand into the trash can beside her and slid another slice of cake toward herself. "It wasn't my place to say," she admitted.

"Kelsey, you tell me everything." He replied, but Kelsey cut him short.

"No, no, I don't, Shamar. You and your brother always keep secrets, and that's okay. Paris and I understand that you can't share everything with us. But she and I must have the same level of trust. I can't and won't tell you everything. There are things you and your brother don't need to know. However, for the record, I did tell her she should tell Shane—it is his baby too. I made that clear. But, it wasn't my place to tell you, Shamar." Looking her husband in the eyes, she watched as his brows furrowed in confusion.

"The fuck you talkin' about Kelsey?" He asked as he sat his plate down, resting his arms on the table, Shamar waited for his wife to reply.

He observed as her ears and cheeks flushed red, a reaction she often concealed with makeup, but this time her body revealed her emotions.

"Nothin', just let your brother and his wife deal with it." She replied, in an attempt to throw him off she shoved more cake into her mouth.

"Naw, you said it's his baby too. What the baby gotta do with it?" He asked

Sighing, Kelsey stood up in an attempt to walk away but Shamar was on her heels and stopped her. "Kelsey, what the fuck you was just talkin' about?" He repeated

"Shamar, let it go! She needs to tell him, and like you tell me all the time, we should stay out of their business." She replied, releasing her arm from his grip.

Gazing at his wife, Shamar slid his hands into the pockets of his joggers. "Alright, follow me." He said, and without another word, he headed for the elevator and pressed the button.

"What are you doing?" Kelsey inquired as she quickly walked over to her husband.

The doors opened and he stepped inside with Kelsey right behind him. He typed in the access code to his brother's suite.

"Clearly, the secret you and her keepin has something to do with my brother's child. You don't have to tell me, and neither does she, but she better tell him. Let her know that she has 24 hours before I take matters into my own hands."

With a roll of her eyes, Kelsey let out a scoff and placed her hands on her hips. "Why do ya'll do that?" She asked.

"Kelsey, it's about his fuckin kid!"

"And she's gonna tell him, why do we have to get involved at all?" She questioned.

"How long has she been holdin this secret?" Shamar asked.
