If there was a book based upon their life, this particular moment would be the climax. That part that leads to the end. Would it be happily ever after?
Or would someone they love tragically get taken away from them? The possibilities were endless. However, the two main outcomes for men such as Shamar and Shane, were either death or prison.

It was a perfect night.  The air was warm but still cool. The moon looked huge, and the stars mimicked the diamonds around Kelsey's neck. John Legend solemnly played over the speakers as she stood on the top deck of the yacht, watching as everyone joined them for dinner.

"What you doin up here?" The sound of Shamar's voice caught her attention, his strong arms wrapped around her waist as he buried his face into the nape of her neck. Taking her in, smelling her scent, Shamar may have fumbled his wife a few times but he knew exactly what he had.

"Nothing." Her somber reply let him know it was more than nothing

"Kelsey" He said, removing his face from her neck

Taking a deep breath, she turned around to face her husband. "Shamar, I have all the faith in the world in you and Shane. And I know we have mentioned this before, talked about this before, and even acted on this before, but have you and your brother thought more into getting out? For good?" Kels watched as she slowly lost Shamar's interest. Placing his face in between both of her hands, she looked up into his eyes. "Shamar it has to end somewhere. We have gotten lucky millions of times. We won't always be so lucky. It's time to think about what's in the best interest of our kids." She said

"Where all this comin from?" He asked

"Look around you." Kelsey replied as she scanned the area around her "Everything is perfect. And me and you both know nothing is ever really perfect for people like us. I can't relax without wondering who's hiding in the dark ready to kill me." She replied
"Are these people looking for Megan a threat to us?" She curiously asked

"No" Shamar replied

"And what's this business with Cameron about ?" She asked

Sighing, Shamar slipped his hands into his cream Ferragamo slacks. "Let's go inside." He ignored her as he began to walk away. But he stopped when he heard Kelsey reply.

"No." She said, her voice quivered but it was laced with irritation. Walking closer to him, she folded her arms as he turned around. "Shamar you don't get to do that anymore. You don't get to shut me out. I get you don't want me too involved in you and your brothers business, I get it. But when I have questions about our future.. for my sake, and for my kids sake I'm gonna need you to answer them. Everything you and Shane do involves us. And I don't wanna be left in the dark. Im not the same woman you knew years ago Mar. I'm your wife and I should have a say so when it comes to anything that will affect our kids"

"Look what happened the last time we tried to walk away. It's no real way to get out Kels." Shamar said

"What? Tia and Gee? That had nothing to do with y'all getting out, they were coming for y'all regardless. Y'all are just using that as an excuse to stay in." She was now pleading with him to understand her point of view. They had already lost enough.

"When me and my brother on the same accord. Then I'll step away." He replied dismissively

"Your brother? So you won't get out because of Shane?" Kelsey asked

"As long as he's in, I'm right there beside him." Attempting to end the conversation, again Shamar began to walk away ..

"What about your family? You know your wife and kids." Walking over to him she grabbed his hand and stood in front of him
