Going through a magical bean portal was not on Angie's bucket list. It definitely wasn't a pleasant experience. But she had to do this. Henry was being held captive by one of the most dangerous people she had ever heard of. Someone known as Peter Pan. Everyone held on tighter to the rigging of the ship as Hook steered the vessel through the whirlpool. The ship was airborne for a few seconds before it plummeted, landing in the middle of a much calmer ocean.
Angie took a deep breath and brushed her hair out of her face. She began to survey her surroundings, assessing for any incoming threats. They were surrounded by the ocean on all sides. In the distance, Angie could see a large island covered in foliage. Angie felt magic pulsing from the island like a heartbeat. She looked over to Hook, who was starting to turn the ship so it was moving straight. "Is that it?"
Hook nodded. "Aye. Neverland." He began to pull the ropes connected to the sails, shortening them. The ship began to move much slower.
Angie furrowed her brows, releasing her grip on the rigging. "Why are you slowing down? The island's right there."
"Oh, I know, Angel. The plan is to bring us to the far side of the island, link up with the widest part of the river, and then we sail right through to take him by surprise." Hook got lost in thought for a second, looking out at Neverland in front of them. "The irony..." he trailed off. Angie had never seen Hook this quiet in her life.
