When Angie finally awoke after a long plunge into the darkness, water was dripping on her face.

She coughed as it washed away any remaining trace of the pepper spray that the Lost Boys had used against her. She had no idea how they had even gotten pepper spray, but she supposed they had their ways. Then again, Angie reminded herself that Pan clearly had contacts all across the realms like Greg and Tamara. One of them could provide him with any item he wanted.

After several moments of confusion, her vision began to unblur and she was finally able to survey her surroundings.

She was lying on the floor of the jungle. The enclosed area was covered with a few leaves, but was mostly clear. She reached her hand up to touch the place that she had been hit, but it seemed as if Pan had healed her, as she felt no bump or bruise or scab. Angie sat up and realized the predicament she was in was much worse than she'd thought.
