Water was dripping on Angie's face. She coughed as it washed away any remaining trace of the PAVA spray that the Lost Boys had used against her. She had no idea how they had even gotten PAVA spray, but she supposed they had their ways. Her vision began to unblur and she was finally able to survey her surroundings.
She was lying on the floor of the jungle. The area was covered with a few leaves, but was mostly clear. She reached her hand up to touch the place that she had been hit. It seemed as if Pan had healed her, as she felt no bump or bruise or scab. Angie sat up and realized the predicament she was in. She was sitting in the middle of a cage made of wooden poles. Angie immediately tried to push the cage over, but it was staked into the ground. Normally, she'd use magic to get herself out, but Pan had cuffed her. She headed to the front of the cage, which was locked shut with an iron lock. There were a few pieces of wire wrapped around the base of the lock, which was a little odd.
Instead of getting annoyed, Angie decided to work on an escape plan. Pan's camp was mostly deserted, except for a guard who was standing a little ways away from her cage, his back facing her. Angie recognized him by his stringy blonde hair. He was the one who had tried to kill her. Felix, Hook had called him.
Angie noticed that she was close to the firepit, which was surrounded by several large stones. Gaining an idea, Angie reached through the bars of her cage and closed her fist around one of the rocks. Careful not to make too much noise, she pulled the rock back into the cage and placed it on the ground. Then, she reached around the bars and felt for the wires that were curled around the lock. She untwirled them from around the metal and began to bend them in a curve. Ensuring that Feliz still wasn't looking, she stuck the two pieces of wire into the lock and started to feel for the pins inside. She began to push them each out of the way, keeping an eye on Felix as she did so. Finally, she heard a satisfying click and the lock fell to the ground.
