With Happiness

Because It Is A Place Where

We Are Loved Unconditionally."

After a few hours of driving, Angie could see a sign in the distance that she hadn't even thought about for a year. Welcome To Storybrooke. Henry was asleep in the back, but Emma was wide awake and looking at everything. Angie took a deep breath as the car passed over the red line that had returned around the town. She felt a rush head through her body and her bangle glowed briefly. Angie felt her power and strength returning...but something was different about it. Something that she couldn't place.

"Is it nice to have your magic back?" Hook wondered.

Angie nodded. "Yeah, it is."

"It's really back," Emma murmured from the back seat. "I'm really back."

"We're really back," Angie corrected. She peered at the scenery of the town. If she hadn't known better, she might have thought that the town was abandoned. There was almost no trace of life left. "It's like a ghost town," she whispered as she began to pull up in front of the building where Mary Margaret and David lived. Where she had lived.

The trio got out of the car. They didn't bother waking Henry. He needed his sleep. Hook retrieved his, well, hook from his coat and reattached it to his left arm. He sighed. "That's more like it, isn't it?"

"How you gonna explain that to him?" Emma questioned, nodding at the sleeping Henry in the car.

"Emma, chill," Angie told her friend. "He's asleep right now. Hook can switch it out later when he's awake. We have more important issues right now." She turned to Hook. "Last time, this curse took away everyone's memories. What happened this time?"
